I sunk into the bath water, it's warmth causing me to shiver.

I sighed as the gentle sound of sloshing water filled the air.

Sinking lower, I stopped only when my hair was completely underwater and the water lapped at the sides of my face.

A memory suddenly swirled in my head, the warm water triggering it.

"Amb? Amb you done yet? We're gonna be late!" Thomas called from down the hallway.

"Just a minute!" I yelled.

"You said that an hour ago!"

"Yeah and I'm saying it now!"

Thomas sighed and I laughed nervously, turning back to the mirror.

I smoothed the black cocktail dress one last time and bit my lip as I stared at my long blonde curls tumbling onto my shoulders gracefully.

"It'll have to do," I muttered.

"Amb c'mon! We can't be late for the party!"

"Yeah yeah! Just let me get a jacket!" I snatched up a leather jacket on the way out and closed the door.

Thomas stood at the bottom of the stairs and glanced up at me, freezing when he saw me.

"Amb you look...wow. Just-wow," he said.

I laughed.

"You don't think the converses are a little informal?" I said, walking down the stairs and gesturing to my black and white sneakers.

Thomas wrapped his arms around me from behind and nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck.

"Nuh uh. They look stunning on you," he whispered, his breath tickling my ear.

I laughed and swatted him away.

"C'mon Golden boy! We're gonna be late!" A voice called from inside the kitchen.

"He's here?" I laughed.

Thomas groaned.

"It would seem he is," he murmured.

I laughed again and this time a boy emerged from the kitchen.

Thomas laughed as the boy wrestled him away from me and got him in a headlock, rubbing his hair widely.

"Stop stop!" Thomas laughed, playfully shoving the boy away.

I laughed as the two playfully shoved each other around.

Thomas finally stopped and slipped his arm around my waist.

"I love you," he murmured.

I laughed and kissed his forehead.

"I love you too," I said.

"Hey love birds! Let's go!" The boy said, grinning.

I laughed again.

"Oh shove off Percy!" I laughed.

Thomas laughed and took my hand as Percy followed, grinning.

My eyes snapped open in surprise and I sat up, water dripping down.

Percy...was there?

My breathing slowed down back to normal and the water continued to drip as the steam swirled and another memory came loose.

"I want you to meet my best mate Amb," Thomas said, his arm over my shoulder.

I laughed.

"But it's so cold! Can't we do it another time?" I whined playfully.

"Aww c'mon Amb. You'll like him I promise," he said.

"Ok..."

A boy walked around the corner, his breath steaming in the cold air.

"What's up Golden boy?" The boy smirked.

"Nice to see you too," Thomas laughed, fist bumping the boy.

"And who's the lovely princess?" The boy asked, kissing my hand.

I laughed.

"Meet Ambrosia," Thomas laughed.

"Nice to meet you Amb," the boy grinned.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm afraid I don't know your name," I smiled.

"Percy. My names Percy," the boy smirked.

I smiled sweetly. "Nice to meet you Percy."
