Lovely day for a Picnic (Edited)

I get myself together and make sure that I am not sporting a hard on before I go outside. My head is reeling from that kiss we shared; it was perfect. I can't wait to do it again.

I put on my cowboy hat and head out of the barn doors. I see them near a picnic table Jules is talking animatedly to a group of people. Damn her ass looks great in those jeans but the best sight by far is my daughter in her arms. I walk over closer to them and smile when Trinity's eyes meet mine.

"Dada!" she squeals.

"Hi Pumpkin, wow you look so beautiful baby," I say. She picks up her tiny foot and shows me her new boots. "Wow, you got boots too!"

"I botas dada," she babbles. It makes my heart swell thinking that Jules did that for her.

"Surprise!" Jules says pointing to the picnic table.

"This is for me?"

"Yes, it's a family picnic and we wanted to do something special for you."

"We?"

"Yeah, all of us," she says. She points to all her friends who I hadn't noticed until that point.

"Thank you Juliana," I say putting my arm around her waist.

"Hope you're hungry," Cecilia says.

"Yes I'm starving. Thank ya'll from the bottom of my heart. After last night, I didn't expect this at all."

"It's all good bro, we all have our dumb ass moments." Felipe says with a chuckle.

"Tell me about it. I'm just glad that this one forgave me," I say looking down at Jules.

We head over to the table and there is so much food on it. Fried chicken, carne asada macaroni salad, potato salad, rice and beans. Wow they really out did themselves. She looks up and me and smiles at me and I squeeze her waist.

"I'll fix us some plates. Take the baby and sit down on the picnic blanket I set out."

"Thank you Darlin' but you didn't have to do all this."

"You're welcome Gordo, I loved being able to do this for you," she says with a smile.

I bring her to me again and hug her tightly. It's been awhile since I felt like someone actually cared about me. I pull off my cowboy hat and tilt my head until my lips meet her and kiss her gently.

"Aww," Everyone says. Making both of us blush, she looks at me and smiles.

I take Trinity and we sit on the blanket along with the guys. Trinity tries to escape me but I grab her back toward me. She looks at me and pouts and I give her one of my 'daddy says no' looks and she sits down in a huff.

"You ready for today Joaquin?" Noel asks.

"Yeah, I am. I was stressed earlier with the gate begin broken but it's all good now."

Jules and Cecelia come up with plates of food. Jules hand me mine and she places a bowl and plate down. She removes her boots and gets comfy next to me. She grabs Trinity's bag and takes out a bib to put on her. Good luck with that Darlin' I think.

Trinity tries to get away and run off to play with another bull rider's daughter named Monica. She is five years old and Trinity just adores her. With quick speed Jules grabs Trinity back to her.

"Trinity you want to play with Monica?" She asks her and she nods. "Okay but first you have to eat."

I'm in damn near shock when Trinity minds her and sits down. Without a fuss she eats all the beans, rice and chicken until the bowl is empty. I'm in awe of this woman.

"Good girl, you ate all your food. Now go and play with Monica," Jules says.

"Give me a besito first baby girl," I say. She kisses me and then she turns to Jules and kisses her too.

We finish eating as we watch Trinity play with Monica. She wants to copy everything that she does. I go and throw our trash out when I come Jules pats the area between her legs for me to sit. I sit between her legs and she wraps her arms around my neck. She kisses my cheek and then my lips I have my hand placed on the back of her neck to deepen the kiss. We sit there and relax before the Rodeo starts. I close my eyes and savor the feeling of her arms wrapped around me tightly. I may have even dozed off.

"Gordo, can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Why do you have a bottle of shampoo and all her clothes in her diaper bag?"

"I share a house with a bunch of the bull riders. I came in last so we sleep in the living room. I don't have a place for our stuff so I carry it with me all the time."

"Gordo, is it safe for her? I mean I'm not judging you at all."

"I know it's not ideal. Sometimes I get annoyed when they bring in girl after girl; so we come here and sleep over in the spare room. I'm ready to move on from that because she is getting older and I want her to be able to play whenever she wants to."

"You're a good daddy; you do your best with what you have."

I look up at her and she kisses my forehead. We watch as Monica's mother Maria loads them up with snacks. I nod my approval to Maria before she hands any to Trinity. It makes us laugh because her arms are full of snacks.

"Mama open this please," Monica says to her mama. All the while Trinity is watching her like a hawk.

Trinity wobbles her way back to us she is gripping all her snacks with her chubby baby hands. She drops some on the way but Changs goes and picks them up for her. She smiles at us proud as can be that she got snacks too.

"What ya got there little one?" I ask as she hands all her loot to Jules.

"Mama open peese," she says to Jules.

Wait, what did she say?
