I turn on the radio and the song Perfect is on and I begin to sing to my wife. She gets all emotional and it makes me smile at her wiping her tears with my thumb. This song sounds like it was made special for us. I drive the truck down the road heading down to Dr. Reyes office. We pass the road to my Abuelo Lazaro's house. I haven't seen him since we got back from Houston it makes me feel guilty.

"Daddy I Tito," Trinity says eating gold fish that Joseph gave her.

"You want to see Tito?"

"Uhhh huuuhhh," she answers.

"Okay after we take mama to see Dr. Reyes. Is that okay Darlin?"

"Of course it is." Jules says taking a drink of her ginger ale. She grabs my hand and kisses my knuckles. "I am so excited to see the baby."

"I know me too. I never had the experience with Trinity because I found out you know who was pregnant when she was almost due."

"We get to experience this together my love. As a family." She gets emotional again. "These damn hormones got me all messed up."

"It's okay my Darlin." I say while parking in front of Dr. Reyes office.

We head into the office and she checks herself in. Mrs. Reyes comes over and fusses over Trinity; she loves being fussed over. My phone vibrates and I look down and it's Jeremy texting me.

Jeremy: Dude got a whole work out made up for you!

Me: Damn already? You don't waste time.

Jeremy: Well Bro you packed on the pounds since your surgery.

Me: Fuck you! LOL. It's because I'm happy.

Jeremy: See you tomorrow be prepared to get your ass kicked with this work out.

Me: Ughhhhh. Tomorrow than.

I grab the phone and show Jules my text between Jeremy and I. She laughs and touches my abs with her fingers. I look at her and raise an eyebrow at her.

"I love the way you look you have an amazing body."

"Thanks darlin' I guess I did gain some weight but I do have to fit to ride." I say as Mrs. Reyes comes over to us again.

"Ya'll the midwife says that she will be doing a pelvic exam first and then do the pelvic ultrasound. Would you like to me keep Trinity here with me until it's time to see the baby?"

"Yes please. Thank you Mrs. Reyes. Trinity stay with Mrs. Reyes and Daddy will come right back out okay?" Jules says.

"Okay mama. I tandy mama?"

"Yes you may have one lollipop. Only one you hear?"

"One." She repeats.

The Nurse comes and takes us to a room in the back; I have never been in this room. It has weird things on the exam table it almost looks like horse stirrups. I touch them and Jules laughs and she gets undressed.

"What the hell are these?"

"Stirrups I put my feet in them when they are examining me. You'll see."

There is monitor with grainy screen with this long wand looking thing. It has what looks like a condom on it; hold up are they gonna put that in her? I look at a poster with all the sizes of babies at different stages seeing this makes everything real. I sit on a chair next to the exam table and the Midwife walks in with the nurse.
