We pull into the parking lot of a super target. My dad pulls up next to me and I notice that he is on his phone. I look in my review mirror and Trinity is wide awake smiling at me. She looks just like her daddy when she smiles. I take this time to grab a diaper and change her quickly.

"Hi baby girl, let's get you changed and go into the store". I take her out of her seat and place on the front seat and change her.

I pick her up and lock up the car and meet my dad at his truck. He finishes his call and gets out and smiles at us.

"Hi Trinity," he says and puts his arms out to her. She happily goes to him; he kisses her face and she giggles from the prickles of dad's facial hair. "Mija, let me buy Trin's furniture and you get the rest."

"Daddy, you don't have to," I say.

"Mija, Joaquin is my best employee. I want to be a blessing to him and the baby. Speaking of Joaquin, where is he going to sleep?"

I push the cart at lightning speed into the store and avoid him and his question. I try not to look in his eyes. I finally have no choice but to look at him.

"Hmmm, what did you say daddy?"

"Girl, I wasn't born yesterday. I can tell how much ya'll adore each other. I saw him kiss you out there."

"I do adore him very much."

"I'm happy for ya'll. Just be careful, ya'll don't need another one of these angels running around."

"Daddy!" I say. I can feel the heat rise in my whole body. I playfully swat his arm. "Daddy! Really?"

"Calm down Hija, I 'm just saying."

"Daddy you know what she said today?" I whisper so she wouldn't hear me. "She called me mama today, twice."

"Well what did you expect you're good to her. Did you ya'll correct her?"

"No sir, she is just a baby she doesn't understand. Was that wrong of me not to?"

"No of course not mija."

We get to the children's beds and bedding section and my goodness there was so much to choose from. My dad is still holding Trinity, he loves holding her. He sees something and picks it up and shows Trinity. She shakes her head no and I go to see what it is.

"Daddy, Star Wars? Put her down and we will see what she picks."

"Good idea."

He puts her down and she examines everything. She sees Mickey Mouse, Peppa Pig and Doc Mcstuffins; she doesn't react to any of it. She turns around and something catches her eye and she squeals.

"Me dis, me dis," she yells in excitement. I go over to see what has got her so excited. A pillow with Anna and Elsa on it.

"You want this one baby?" I ask and she nods happily. "Well Daddy I guess it's Frozen themed room.

We find a Frozen toddler bed with all the bedding, cute wall decals and a table with chairs. We even found a dresser for her. We may have gone a little overboard but she needs it. My dad helps me find the stuff to baby proof the house. I grab a bunch of toys for her mostly educational stuff and books. I go and grab things for Joaquin for our private bathroom in my room. I find an amazing hat rack especially made for cowboy hats. I get some groceries, a case of diapers. Daddy disappears with Trinity while I grab the last of my private purchases. He comes back with a few more things for Trinity, a frozen nightgown and slippers and one other large item.
