I am so thrilled with how everything is going; I love my little family. Who would have ever thought that I would be a wife and a mama and to think that I just said that I wasn't ready for all of that. I guess it wasn't my timing it was God's and I am okay with that. We enjoy cake; Trinity face is stained pink from the sickly sweet frosting. I can't wait to take her to the zoo, Joaquin says she has never been to a big zoo; only a petting zoo. We get ready to leave the court room as Judge Turner comes to say goodbye to us.

"God Bless you all," he says with a smile.

"Thank you so much," Joaquin says getting choked up.

"My pleasure! Have a great day and an amazing life as a family."

We head to the truck and everyone is waiting on us to help Joaquin with the wheel chair. I narrow my eyes at him and he shrugs. He better go to the doctors or I will drag him by his hair; Bull Riders are so damn hard headed but I love mine. We get in and head to the hotel to change into appropriate clothes for the zoo. I change into shorts and a tank top. I leave Trinity in her sun dress; it's easier that way. Joaquin puts on a pair of gray quicksilver shorts and black tank top; damn he looks hot. He takes his phone out as I am changing Trin's Diaper.

"Hey Dr. Reyes, its Joaquin Ortega," he begins. "Yeah, I really fucked up my shoulder something fierce."

"Joaquin!" I yell from across the room. He just smiles sheepishly and mouths sorry.

"We will be home tomorrow afternoon. We are leaving this evening from Houston. Okay see you tomorrow." He hangs up. "See babe? I'm seeing Dr. Reyes tomorrow."

"Good, I thought I was going to have to drag you by your hair." I laugh.

"Oh you want to pull my hair? I think I can arrange that later." He winks at me.

"Oh Joaquin, you're so bad."

"Let's go everyone is waiting on us! Ready to see the monkey Trinity?"

"I wedy dada," she says excited.

We take the nice drive to the zoo as Trinity babbles away saying god knows what. It's funny how she can be understood easily sometimes then at other times its all baby babble. I love it. We get to the zoo; the parking lot is a ghost town; Chang's dad really did have it closed to the public; makes me wonder what else they have up their sleeves. We get out and Narizon takes out the wheel chair while Guerro takes out Trinity for us. Sabrina waddles over to us she looks so exhausted.

"Brina, you okay? I ask

"I'm fine, just feel really heavy today," She smiles at us. "I can't wait to see my baby; to see who he will look like."

"I am super excited for ya'll" I say as I hug her tightly to me. Her belly taking up most of the room making us laugh.

A zoo worker comes up and greets us; she can't take her eyes off Joaquin. It makes my jealous side come out so I grip his arm claiming him as mine; Joaquin belly laughs and kisses my forehead. I narrow my eyes at the tart.

"Aren't you Joaquin Ortega?"

"Yes I am," he says.

"I saw you bull riding a few years back at a fair here in Houston," she says popping her chewing gum. "You were really good! Wow! Your forearms are huge! I'm Destiny by the way." She puts her hand over his forearm; he jerks away.

"Uhh, thanks I guess, Destiny this is my wife Juliana and our daughter Trinity." He says as Changs walks up. Changs rolls his eyes; I wonder what is going on.

"Destiny," he says through gritted teeth.

"Noel," she says rolling her eyes.

"Ya'll know each other?" Joaquin asks amused.

"Yup she is my step-monster's daughter," he says.

"Fuck you Noel," she spews.

"Hey watch your mouth around my daughter," I snap.

"I'm sorry, Noel Dad is inside the zoo already."

"Oh you mean my dad?" he says taunting her like a little kid.

"Noel!" I scold him. He just laughs. I shake my head at him.

We head into the zoo all the while Destiny is checking out my hubby's ass; so I grab a handful and squeeze all the while my eyes are locked on hers. She goes back into the little office to do god knows what. I look at Noel and he looks annoyed.

"I didn't know you had a step-sister."

"Yup, she is the reason that I got sent to California my senior year; there was no room for me in my dad's new life. Now things are good with dad and me; they don't like me."

"What's not to love," I say with a smile.

"His wife couldn't handle my hyperactivity so she suggested that my dad send me with my mom."

We see a short heavyset man come over to us and Noel's face lights up. He looks just like Noel only fat; it makes me smile. He looks a bit like those old gangsters that you see in the movies. Like an old cholo, he does not strike me a lawyer but what do I know. He comes and hugs his son tightly. His eyes light up when he sees Sabrina and her very pregnant belly.

"We can't wait to spoil our grand-baby," he says with a huge smile.

"We?" Noel asks.

"Esther is very excited for the baby," he says which makes Noel roll his eyes. "Noelito basta, enough this is supposed to be a fun day,"

"Si senor," he says.

We walk further into the zoo pushing Trinity in her chair; she is looking in all directions her squeals get louder making us laugh. We are not stopping I wonder where we are going. I look at Joaquin and he looks just as confused as me. We just laugh because we know at this point anything is possible. We walk through a gated area and in awe of what we see.

"Fante, Dada, mama, fante!" Trinity squeals

"Yes baby, that is a baby elephant and his mama," Joaquin says.

"Wow," I say because that is all I can say. I've never seen one this close. The handlers begin to walk them closer to us. "Uhh what are they doing?"

"This is a special tour of baby animals and their mama's and daddies," Noel laughs. "Trinity can touch them all if she wants."

"You want to touch the elephant?" I ask thinking she will be scared and say no.

"I touch! I touch!" she squeals. Damn.

"Darlin' she ain't scared of nothing, well almost nothing," he says with a bristly voice. I know he is thinking about Arnie and Olivia.

She touches the baby elephant named Dumbo and I am surprised about how gentle she is. She is beaming with pride that she touched it. We all take shot after shot with our cell phones and Guerro's camera of her with the elephants. They take the elephants away and she cries; she is so sad that they left. We have let her know that she will see more animals. She is the light of our lives, if it made her happy her daddy would probably try to buy her an elephant; he better not though. I sit on the bench waiting for the next animal to be paraded out and watch my family; my heart is so full.
