Hello! Here's a new chapter for my amazing readers! Enjoy!

***************

Hidan was pushed into the dungeon by a grinning Kisame. A genuinely grinning Kisame. That was what scared him so much. Whoever can make that freak f*cking genuinely grin, I have got to meet.

He put his rough-man face on and glared into the cell.

"Tell me your f*cking name right now, or I will sacrifice you to Jashin!" he snapped.

"Whoa! This must be the famous Hidan!" a bright voice chirped. A girl poked her head out and grinned at him. "I've heard so much about you!" Hidan immediately lost his façade and adopted an expression of surprise. It soon morphed into proud triumph.

"Hell yeah! I'm the great Hidan, no less, tons more!" he exclaimed. In front of him, the girl giggled.

"This sounds exactly like how Itachi described," she tinkled, all the while giggling. Hidan froze.

"Itachi? You heard this from ITACHI?!" No wonder. That bad*ss. I'm gonna f*cking kill him. This can't be good.

Rin was taken aback by Hidan's sudden ferociousness. What is it about Itachi...? She kept her bright grin on.

"Yup! Everyone tells me about you! You come up in the topic of discussion so often that I felt like I knew you long before today." She laughed. However, the Jashinist's expression was not matching hers, instead enraged.

"I bet you I can say exactly what they told you. Kisame probably said-" the teen contorted his voice into a high, mocking tone. "-'Hidan's a f*cking b*tch!' Itachi probably said that I was-" the teen now brought his tone low. "-'not worthy to be anything to him.' And all the others? Something of the sort. Even Kakuzu would probably have called me something b*tchy."

Rin watched the silver-haired teen with curiosity and concern. She knew she hit a sore spot unintendedly, but she wanted to address it. I can't take what I said to Pein-san back, nor will I forget it. My job here is to heal, and healing is what I will do.

"That's not true, Hidan. It looked to me like they were really fond of you when they said that." The Jashinist scoffed.

"HA! You think I'm gonna f*cking buy that piece of sh*t you just told me? They hate me, those b*st*rds."

"Wh-Whoa..." Rin murmured. "You know it's not true, Hidan."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Not true?" Hidan asked, voice barely above a whisper. He raised it to a yell. "NOT TRUE?!" He felt overwhelming rage washing over him in waves. The girl flinched gently. Flinch. Go on and flinch. I'll make you hate me too! However, he was not expecting her next words.
"You don't feel at home here, do you, Hidan?" she asked softly. "You feel out of place, don't you?" Bitterness and resentment that he had been holding back for the longest time began to bubble up to the surface. This girl-! She's going too far, that b*tch. I'm going to kill her.
"That's not true!" he shouted. "The Akatsuki is where I can unleash everything I have stored in my body, where I can go full out! I love it here, and you're one hell of a b*tch to say otherwise. Be gone, you f*cking-" He stopped short when he felt an intense stare on him. Looking down, his magenta eyes found large, chocolate orbs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"You know," Rin said softly. "I think you're misunderstanding them."

"You're just on their side, against me as everyone is," Hidan scoffed. "I'm not gonna f*cking listen to you, you b*tch."
