Christmas is the best! I love it! All the fun and cheer = amazing!

Sasori lounged on the swings in the local park. Rin was beside him, kicking her feet. The nonstop Amegakure rain soaked them, but it was a normal sight.

"Sasori!" she said suddenly, sitting up and grinning. "You sing well."

"Huh?" he asked, turning red. "Where'd you hear me sing?"

"Just now! You have an amazing voice! Oh, there goes the tomato power, running full force."

"Yes, I am very aware that I am embarrassed." Sasori felt his cheeks heat up even more.

"You've got a good voice," Rin said. "Wayyyyy better than the others."

"You've heard them sing ?"

"Birthday party," she reminded him.

"How about solo?" The kunoichi laughed.

"You don't want to know."

"Even Itachi?" She burst out laughing.

"He was the first one."

"Oh my. I'd like to hear that." The medic flashed a brilliant grin at him.

"Sing for me."

"N-No."

"Pleeeeeeease?" The redhead felt a tug on the corners of his lips.

"Nope."

"Come on, be nice!"

"I am being nice. You don't want to hear me sing."

"I'm telling you that you have a good voice! Here, I'll start a song for you!" Sasori stopped her.

"Nuh uh." He sent the medic a smirk. "As much as I want to hear you sing, you're not getting me singing. Well, if you would sing, that'd be nice."

"Not 'till you do!" Rin retorted, glaring at him. The redhead was silent for a moment.

"Maybe. Someday." Rin grumbled complaints under her breath and hopped off the swings. She turned to him, sending the puppeteer a pout that sent his face flushing.

"You better stick to your word, redhead."

Sasori let a small smile crawl up to his face.

He would.

Well, someday.

A few days later...

"Guys~!" Rin called, sidling in to the kitchen. She knew the Akatsuki were there; they had cleaned out the fridge once more, courtesy of their uncontrollable guilty pleasures. Empty snack containers were littered all around the counter and the floor. She ignored it. "Christmas is coming-"

"WE ALREADY CLEANED OUR ROOMS!" they interrupted immediately. She laughed.

"No, no, we're not cleaning again. Trust me, even I don't want that." She waited to build suspense. "Christmas is coming... so we're going to do Secret Santa!"

All around her, wide-eyed, the Akatsuki stared.

"...?" But their faces showed their cluelessness.

"Don't tell me you don't know what that is..." Rin muttered.

The red cloud organization looked at the medic helplessly. She palmed her face in exasperation.
