Just as the tension had risen, it left. Rin was dragged back to the hideout, then welcomed with worried faces and relieved words.

She smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry."

"YOU BETTER BE!" they all yelled at her.

"We were worried, gosh darn it!" Hidan exclaimed. "Don't suddenly spring wings on us and disappear like that, will you?!"

"Sorry."

"Dammit."

"Well, we're gald you're back, Baby Shark." Kisame slapped her on the back. Rin yelped in pain.

"Kisame!" Itachi and Sasori growled simultaneously. The others laughed at the two boys' overprotectiveness.

"Sorry!"

Konan approached the kunoichi timidly.

"Sorry about earlier. Are your shoulders okay?" she asked.

"They're fine, don't worry," Rin replied, smiling softly.

"You know, we discussed it," Pein said. "And we think we'll go for it, if you think you can do it."

"Yeah. After all, Rin, we trust you," Konan murmured.

"I'll make sure the process will go by without a hitch." She glanced at Hikaru, and immediately, the wolf pup knew what he had to do.

"Let's go out, Rin," he chirped.

"Huh?!" Sasori growled. "Excuse me?!"

The organization roared with laughter. Rin pet the canine fondly.

"Sure, let's give it a go," she said, grinning cheekily.

Sasori hit her on the back of the head.

"Don't do anything bad," he warned. "Or I'll attach myself to you."

Rin laughed.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll be okay, don't worry. I have Hika-chan protecting me, remember?" she picked the dog up and kissed him on the top of the head. He yipped in affection.

The redhead pouted.

"Go, Hikaru. I'll catch up." She let the pup go.

Then, she pulled Sasori in and gave him a kiss.

"Satisfied?" Rin asked.

"Not really."

"Eww. Go do your lovestuff tonight, not in front of us," Kisame said.

"Don't wander off," Itachi said, ruffling her hair affectionately.

"You guys worry too much."

"We have a reason to worry, after today."

"Okay, okay, I get it! It's just one time!" She made to leave.

"Wait." Someone grabbed her on the wrist and pulled her back. She fell into Sasori's chest.

"What is it, redhead?" she asked, chocolate eyes gleaming teasingly.

"I dunno. Nothing. Just wanted to hug you."

"Eww," Kisame groaned, burying his face in his hands.

"Do you have something against this lovestuff, un? I think it's pretty cute, hmm."

"Then you have a problem."

"We should encourage Konan and Leader-sama to do this stuff too," Itachi said cheekily.
