"Rooms need to be inspected personally by yours truly before you can do something normal!" Rin hollered. Groans could be heard coming from every room. Beside her, Sasori laughed quietly.
"Glad I finished mine," he said, sending her a smirk.
"Yup! You cheated!" she chirped plainly, grinning. As she was about to make her way down the hallway, Rin felt someone grab her arm.
"Nuh uh, you don't. Not yet. This thing... Our secret for now?" Sasori requested, a fun gleam in his eye. Rin laughed at the childishness that had surfaced in the redhead after their little episode inside his room.
"Sounds good."
"Good." The puppeteer gave her a peck on the cheek. "Okay, get out of here." Rin laughed as she made her way down the corridor.
"Says he wants to keep it a secret and does that~" she called behind her.
"I'll take it back~" he called after her.
"Don't you dare!"
She knocked on the door and entered.
And immediately, the stench of unwashed clothes and old takeout overwhelmed her senses.

...
"HOSHIGAKI KISAME!"

"I tried, I tried!" Kisame protested. Rin waved her arms wildly around her.
"You call this tried?! Sasori knocked a toolbox and two jars of poison over and it wasn't as messy or stinky - or deadly! How do you live with this?!" Kisame laughed.
"Chillax, dude! I'm cleaning it! Wanna help?" Rin sighed, exasperated.
"It's what I came here to do."

"YES! FREEDOM!" Kisame threw his door open and sailed out. "Thank you, Baby Shark!"
Rin rolled her eyes and made her way to the next room, pausing for only one moment to admire the shiny, new room that had resulted from Kisame and her - mostly the medic's - hard work. She had had to clean countless pieces of underwear off the floor, take shelter on Kisame's back until he stopped playing with the centipedes and spiders and began to spray them with bug spray, clean out a drawer miraculously holding a pool of dead fish, and recycle many rotting takeout containers. Rin had had to run to the convenience store to grab five new bottles of bug spray and disinfectant. She sighed as she knocked.
