Hiii! I'm back! This chapter resembles the old one quite a lot, but if you want to see how they make up, read it! ;)
Note: Keep in mind that, because the Akatsuki are teens and young adults, they are all around the same height as Rin. If you are a visualizer like I am, imagine that they are all only a few inches taller than Rin at most. For the older members, they would be around half a head taller. This chapter is focused on Sasori, and this Sasori is technically 18 (I'm not sure about his real age difference with the other members, but here's my version), but he's short, so he basically lines up with Rin. Harumi is - was - 15, but is tall like Deidara. She lines up with Sasori. Also, I forgot to mention in the older chapters that Rin doesn't have her Konoha headband with her, as you've probably already figured out. Otherwise, Pein wouldn't have asked what her affiliation was.
Well, here we go! Enjoy!

"You remind me of someone, you know," Sasori began quietly. "She was... your age." The poison master toyed with the hem of his t-shirt. Rin said nothing, gazing straight in front of her. She kept her eyes carefully blank.
"Her name was Harumi. She... She used to be in the Akatsuki." Rin could see Sasori rapidly blinking to keep his tears away.
"But she died." His voice was barely above a whisper. Rin's eyes grew a little wider from her gaze at the wall of the House. She glanced sideways to find Sasori's eyes closed, tears trickling down his face in rivers. Her eyes grew pained, and she placed her good hand over his. He gripped it tightly. Sasori opened his eyes, revealing copper orbs glistening with emotion.
"She was so bright and cheerful. She brought so many wonders to the Akatsuki. And she made us so happy," he murmured. Rin gazed up at him, silent but caring. "She changed our lives." His eyes grew hard and cold.
"But she died." Sasori's voice was icy. "Of all the people the heavens had to take from us, they took her. The only one who was innocent. They took our healer," he snarled. His fists clenched and he gritted his teeth, eyes glinting maliciously. "We could have become a good organization. We could have begun to help the 5 Great Nations. That was what she believed in. Peace throughout the Nations. But they took her. Those fools." Rin listened, her eyes softening the tiniest bit.
"They took our only hope from us. Our happiness. All she wanted was for us to become an organization that was always there for one another. Friends until the end; loyal. And because of her, that was what we became. The organization grew connected. We became like a family. And we were so happy," he breathed. Tears began to form at the corners of the puppeteer's eyes again. "She changed us. Harumi was hardworking, but she was so stubborn. She always believed what was good, though, and she was precious. But we lost her. We lost her to those scoundrels." Sasori's eyes shone with hatred.
"When we found out, we hunted them down. Until they were all dead. It was Iwa. They wanted their precious little spring flower back. We couldn't let them take her. She was ours. But in the fight..." The redhead trailed off, closing his eyes once more.
Rin tugged on his shirt gently to get him to move closer. Glancing at the puppeteer, she saw tears running down his face. His eyes held unimaginable pain. He loved her, she thought, just as Sasori said,
"I loved her. She... Harumi was Deidara's younger sister."
So it was you, hey?
Slowly and gently, Rin's arms found Sasori's waist. She gazed at him; the teen who had betrayed his weakness in front of her. Cried in front of her. She pulled him close, and offered up all the support she could ever give. The puppeteer leaned on her gently. Rin said nothing. She knew nothing she said could comfort him at this time.
