Chapter 14 ~ Almost Perfect

Hello again! Since this chapter is mostly for fun and almost mirrors the old chapter as well...

I'll give a second chapter.

"PRESENT TIME!!!" Deidara announced, clapping his hands. Blood, origami paper, shadows, crows, and all kinds of things filled the air as members promptly disappeared to get their presents.

Pein: "As the leader of the Akatsuki, I guess I'll give my present first."

Rin: "Wait, what-!"

Pein: "Oh, wait. Before that, here."

*Pein hands something to Rin. Her eyes widen.*

Rin: "Where'd you get this?!"

Pein: "That's what I want to ask you. Why'd you put your headband on my chair, because-"

Half of the Akatsuki: "-he sat on it!" *laughter*

Rin: "H-Huh? I didn't."

Pein: *frowns* "Huh. It's yours, though, right?"

Rin: "Yes. Thank you. How'd you know?"

Pein: *shrugs* "It wasn't that hard."

Hidan: "In fact, it was quite obvious."

Rin: "Wh-What do you mean, 'it was quite obvious'?!"

Kisame: "All Leaf ninja are like you, ya know! Sweet and cute."

Rin: *turns red* "Uhh! Thanks, Big Sharkie..."

Akatsuki: *rolls eyes*

Pein: "And the fact that you were all friendly with Itachi just affirmed our suspicions more."

Rin and Itachi: "...!"

Pein: "Okay, my present."

*Pein takes a box out from behind him. Rin gasps.*

Rin: "Whoa! This... This is limited edition... HOWDIDYOUGETTHISPEIN!!!"

Pein: *chuckles* "Calm down. Anyways, I thought that a Konoha medic kit would fit your first aid better..." *looks pointedly at Rin's headband*

Rin: "It's appreciated! Thank you, Pein!" *hugs Pein*

Hidan: "You know, you better waste half of that stuff on us!"

Kakuzu: "Yeah, or we're never letting you get away with saving all of your star supplies from Leader-sama."

Rin: *laughs* "Of course!"

Konan: "As Leader-sama's underhand, I'll go next."

Pein: "That title's not necessary, Konan. You know that."

Konan: *shrugs* "It's not all bad. Means I can at least rule over this bunch here." *eyes boys dangerously*

Rin: *laughs* "We can beat the boys any day, as long as we tell them we won't make them food!"

Konan: "OMG YES!"

Boys: "HEY!"

Konan: "Well, I was thinking..."

*brandishes a kimono*

Konan: "Maybe this? I had it custom made."

Rin: "Oh my goodness! It's beautiful! And it's embroidered with... origami crane designs? Konan, you're such a..." *laughs*
