"Wh-What's this now?" Konan asked. "We're getting new cloaks? Since when?"

"Since I talked to your leader." Rin grinned at Pein. He sent a smirk over to her. "The cloaks are coming soon! We ordered them already. Well, I let Kakuzu and Hikaru in on the secret, and we decided to give the meaning behind the design."

"That's meaningful," Itachi said. He raised an eyebrow. "But... What happened to undercover shinobi?" Rin grinned.

"I took care of that. The rainbow won't show up unless you're, like, totally under the sunlight or something really bright. It'll pretty much look like this design here."

The members were silent from shock.

"...I love it," Sasori said, breaking the astonished silence. "Good work, Rin." The medic grinned.

"I like it, too," Itachi said. "Like, a lot." The members all agreed with him. Pein shot them a superior look.

"I knew you would. Why else would I have said yes?" He looked so proud that the organization laughed.

"He's having one of his Leader moments," Konan said, whacking him. "Well, you didn't come up with it, you know." Pein crossed his arms.

"You wouldn't have this design if I hadn't allowed it."

"Like anyone can say no to Rin, un. You're no different, Leader-sama!" Deidara chided teasingly.

"Guys," Pein said, exasperated. "Just use my name."

They exchanged awed glances.

Then they squealed.

"HE FINALLY SAID IT!" Hidan shrieked.

"YES! FINALLY!" Kisame yelled. They high-fived.

"Was there a bet?" Pein asked Rin. She shrugged.

"I have no clue. It probably happened before I came." She laughed. "You really raised a family here, Pein."

"Not my doing," he replied, smirking down at her. "Yours."

"And Harumi's," she said. He nodded in agreement. "But everyone had a part, right?"

"I guess so."

"Let's go next, Itachi, un!" Deidara exclaimed. The Uchiha nodded.

"Sure."

Taking their places side by side on the Akatsuki's makeshift stage, Itachi pulled a sheet of paper out and Deidara lugged a box of sculpted clay up onto the stage.

"Ooooo~!" Rin exclaimed. The blond winked at her. She flashed him a thumbs-up.

"Well, here we go," Itachi said, clearing his throat.

They clapped.

"There once was a place, empty and cold," the Uchiha said. He put the piece of paper away. "There once was a place full of stories untold."

Deidara rummaged in his box as Itachi recited.

"There once was a place, so bloody and dark,
There once was a place with a cloud as its mark."
