Rin's senses perked.
Three... two... one!
The girl twirled around and caught Sasori, who yelped in surprise of being caught in his own surprise attack.
The kunoichi laughed.
"Gotcha."
"You're inhuman."
She dropped the redhead onto the floor.
"Meanie. I'm as human as you are."
Sasori rubbed his butt, huffing a laugh out.
"I'm an 'alien,' remember?"
Rin glared at him.

"Sorry." Sasori got up and left the table where the Akatsuki were eating. "Gotta run."
"You got a bad case of diarrhea or something?" Kisame asked, fork lifted midway to his mouth.
Sasori did not reply, but sent a heated copper glare back.
"He sure has been running off a lot lately," Itachi remarked. Rin's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly.
"He's human. It happens," Nagato muttered.
Rin's ears perked.
"He's an alien," she stated, sticking her index finger up solemnly.
Nagato glared at her as the members laughed and Sasori's shout of protest echoed down the hallways.
"My. Point. Is. He'll be embarrassed if he finds out we've been talking about him taking a dump, so shut up."
The table eyed their leader with raised eyebrows.
Hidan shrugged.
"You're the one who actually said it, man."
Rin shook her head.
"What did I say? You guys aren't 'men.'"
"Don't tell me we're 'aliens' too."
"What else?"

And so, the days in February drew on.
As it was, Sasori also made appearances less.

A pitter on the wood turned Nagato's eyes upwards.
"Come in," he said.
The door opened to reveal-
"How's my favourite Medical Ninja doing?" he asked, sending a smirk over to Rin.
"Harumi-chan's probably crying up in the afterlife right now," the kunoichi remarked with a laugh. "She's probably throwing curses at you - not that she curses."

"Darn you, Leader-sama! Ketchup head! Target eyes! Meeeeeeeeeanie~!!!" Harumi wailed, banging her fists on the screen she Akira had set to look over the hideout.
The Suna kunoichi chuckled, then patted her on the back.
"He doesn't mean it."
