Ahhhhh whoooooops! Sorry, I'm on jet lag and I didn't bother to change my watch's time (as if I totally know how to change it). That's my excuse for this time's late update.
But hey, I finally made it to Japan - what anime freak doesn't wanna take a trip there?

Obito noticed the change in her; how her shoulders slumped, how she always looked tired, how she never seemed to try to fight anymore.
He could not stand it anymore.

Just when she was about to leave after team training, Rin felt a hand on her shoulder and stopped.
"Something the matter, Obito?" she asked quietly.
"What happened to you?" was his reply.
Now that was a question she did not want to answer.

Chocolate eyes swiveled wearily to meet onyx ones.
Kakashi stood off to the side, listening in as discreetly as possible.
"You have no idea," Rin told Obito.
"I don't. I wish you'd tell me, Rin!"
The girl lowered her eyes.
"It already happened. No need to dwell on it."
"No, no, no! Not that! I know something happened between you and- and- them! I'm not talking about that! After that last time when you took the shift for sensei at the Tower, you've been like this!"
Kakashi's friend then whirled on him.
"Did you do something to her?" Obito demanded.
He raised his hands in defense.
"Nothing."
"Stop it, Obito. It's not Kakashi's fault."
The Hatake blinked his surprise away.
"But, Rin, you know you can confide in us, right?" Kakashi said quietly.

Minato, from the very top of the tree, listened to his Chuunin - and a Jonin - talking.
He wanted to know too.
Just how much damage could a shift at the Tower do - well, it was his position, but hadn't she said she had experience with it?
The Yondaime blinked. Unless...
...Was it the mission?

Rin, in her exasperation, almost threw her hands up.
She knew they were just trying to care.
Her spying sensei included.
"Look, I'm okay. Really. Just took a ride on the feels train and now I'm feeling out of it."
The other two watched her, concerned.
Finally, Obito shrugged.
"Wanna eat?"
