"Hidan! We got a mission to check different places out for a surprise vacation Leader-sama is planning, un."
"Huh?! The two of us?!" Deidara shrugged.
"Maybe Leader-sama ran out of people ask, un." Hidan sighed loudly.
"Well, that's awkward. Let's go tell him that we're leaving."
"No, it's good, hmm. He said to leave right away."
As the blond and Jashinist turned the corner into the entryway of the hideout, they found Rin there, closing the shoe closet (covering up for her spying on the two - but they don't know that). Deidara and Hidan exchanged a glance, then immediately reached out and each grabbed one of the medic's arms.
Rin: "Uh!"
Hidan + Deidara: "You're coming with us."

Hikaru padded into Kakuzu's room; it was not out of the ordinary to find the wolf pup wandering around the hideout in his boredom.
"What'cha doing, Kakuzu-san?"
"Counting my money. You wanna help?" the money hogger asked without a slight turn of his head. Hikaru laughed.
"Sorry, I'm bad with small things and fluttery things. Oh, but! You know the other time you passed out during your mission?" Kakuzu turned around at that, glaring the little canine down. Hikaru flashed a playful grin, then pulled something out from behind him. "I goch your poorishe money for you! (I got your prize money for you!)"
Kakuzu's eyes widened.
"How?! I couldn't get it!" The pup grinned.
"I have my ways," he said proudly, albeit a little slyly.
"OMG! Thanks, Hikaru!" Kakuzu gathered the pup into a hug, squishing him. All of his anger had vanished.
"N-No problemo!"

"Guys, how are the Secret Santas going?"
"Good," the entire Akatsuki chorused. Rin smirked, evoking wary glances from her friends.
"Huh. I wonder about that."
Konan sighed. She knew what Rin was talking about.
She knew Rin knew all of them.
"Are we that bad at it?" she asked. Rin sent her a glance that said "good job, you're the only one who understands".
"Yup." The kunoichi sent her fellow friend a "you-know-what-you-need-to-do" look. Konan nodded in thanks for the tips only she understood.

A few days later...
"Okay, so I guess we're ready to have a go at this Secret Santa?" Rin asked.
The Akatsuki agreed.
"I'll start," Kisame announced. "My Secret Santa is... Konan!" Konan laughed evilly.
"No."
"What!"
Itachi sighed.
"Me next," he said. He knew the medic knew whose Secret Santa he was, and who his Secret Santa was. "Hikaru, you're my Secret Santa." The wolf pup flashed a grin.
