Around 5 years ago Kailey and Derek were running an errand for David when they stumbled upon an abandoned cabin, and these are the events that happened during their weekend there.
Kailey's pov
Derek and I had finished David's mission a few days early, and we were dreading going back. We had decided to go through the woods so it would take a little longer to get back. It was getting dark and we were trying to find a place to rest for the night when we stumbled upon a cabin. It looked like it had been abandoned for a while so we decided to stay here for the weekend instead of going back to David's right away.
"Well, which room do you want?" Derek motioned to the rooms and waited for me to make my choice.
"Well, I was thinking that, that we could share the blue room over here? It has a king bed so we would both, both of us could fit, but it's okay if you don't want to! It, it was a stupid question, just, just forget I said anything," I turned away from Derek, my blush as red as a tomato, and started to walk away when Derek pulled me back and smiled at me.
"I would love to share a room with you I can't think of anything that would make me happier," Derek pulled me into the room and fell onto the bed with me in his arms. He laughed as he saw me blush and pulled me closer. We were both exhausted and fell asleep almost instantly, wrapped in each other's arms.

Derek's pov
I woke up before Kailey did and smiled as I held her in my arms. I felt her start to wake up and heard her let out an adorable yawn. "Good morning Kay."
"Morning, how'd you sleep?" She looked up at me and gave me one of her smiles that just melted my heart.
"That was the best sleep I've ever had," I told her. And it was because I had here with me. She smiled and we sat in silence for a while, just enjoying each other's company.
"Derek?" Kailey looked up at me with bright eyes that told me she had an idea.
"Hmm?"
"Let's not go back. Let's stay here forever and just leave David. It's so much better here and we don't have to worry about David hurting us or experimenting on us, it would be perfect," I sat up as Kailey told me her idea, and as much as I wished we could do it, I knew it was impossible.
"I wish we could, but David had those trackers that activate once our deadline is hit. He would know where we were in an instant, and the consequences would be brutal," her face dropped as she remembered the trackers, the only thing that kept us from running. "But we could go back, and after he removed the trackers we could run, getaway, and come back here." Kailey thought about it for a moment and her face lit up again. She threw herself against me and kissed me. It was the best feeling in the world. She pulled away and tried to apologize but I silenced her by pulling her back into a kiss. We spent the rest of the weekend cuddling and kissing, falling even farther in love. All we need to do now is escape.
When Derek and Kailey returned, David praised them for a job well done. They had their trackers removed and were sent back to their rooms, where they packed everything they needed. They snuck through the castle and made it outside before they were discovered, and you know what happened after that.
