Saving Ross

Max's pov

I can't believe they took Ross. They could have taken anyone and they took him, of course. I couldn't stop thinking about how he might be in trouble. I wanted to leave already but Shelby convinced me to wait for everyone to get here.

"Hurry up, I'm leaving in five minutes and I won't care if you're here or not!" I yelled at the others. Everyone was finally ready so we all piled in. I was driving with Lizzie upfront with me, Shelby and Scott were sitting in the middle row by themselves, and Joel had the whole back row to himself. I took off towards the place the note had said, Ross's old house.

Third-person

Max was driving down the road as fast as he dared to go when Lizzie turned towards him and said, "Max, I'm sure Ross will be fine."

" You don't know for sure though, do you"

Lizzie shook her head sadly and went back to looking out the window. Max turned onto a dirt road and quietly turned off the car. Everyone got out, trying not to make any noise. They silently crept up the road to an old farmhouse. Max walked up to the door and looked at everyone.

"Ready?"

"Ready."

Max kicked open the door and they all ran in. They looked around and saw...
