Chapter 41-
Ideas
"Sasuke."
In a daze the youngest Uchiha turned his head to his elder brother who stood dumbfounded at the door puzzled by his little brother's unusual behavior.
Sasuke laid in his bed dressed in his sweat pants and t-shirt not moving one inch. His left hand was on his chest almost clutching the spot where his heart is.
"What?" His voice was raspy from the lack of hydration.
"Mom tells me you been here since you came home. You didn't come down for a snack or even dinner." Itachi said walking in surveying the room. "What have you been doing?"
Sasuke stared holes in the ceiling not bothering to move. "Nothing obviously."
He knew the vague answer he gave his brother wasn't enough and knew that he'll be pounded with questions. His elder brother was persistent in anything related to him.
"Is something bothering you Sasuke?"
Ultimately he sighed in defeat. He'll only pester me more, he thought.
"I-I have a date."
Itachi's face instantly lit up and a smirk grew. "A date with who?"
"Sakura." Sasuke mumered rolling to his side.
The youngest Uchiha heard his brother chuckle.
"You have a date with sweet little Sakura?" Itachi asked. "Who asked who out may I ask?"
Sasuke's face grew red at the question. "It doesn't matter!"
"Oh little brother. These are things you come to me about. You shouldn't strain yourself." The elder Uchiha let out a chuckle he couldn't hold in anymore. "A date isn't something to stress about."
"But.." Sasuke sighed and rolled back onto his back. "This is a date with Sakura."
"So what? I see no problem."
'That's because I have yet to tell you about these past years without her.' He thought looking over to his closet where he kept that box filled with memories.
"I don't know how a date works." He hissed.
Itachi stared blankly at his brothers face. No emotion could portray what he was thinking of.
"How do dates work?" Sasuke said struggling to sit himself up. "That dope goes on a bunch of them with Hinata. She always gets interograted by Ino for details. Hinata's always saying how it was romantic or fun or whatever else."
"Hm." The elder brother took a seat at Sasuke's desk. "Dates are usually anything you both can do together. Like the movies or eating together, anyhing that involves enjoying each other's company. Has she expressed interest in something?"
"She did want to go to some restaurant place."
"Take her there after you enjoyed some fun activity. Or take her before you go anywhere else."
"I see." Sasuke began to brainstorm places or anything they could do.
Early that morning, Sakura showed him a place they could enjoy. Karaoke, it was something fun but done often in groups. At lunch she hinted at the idea of them going to an art gallery. The idea was good but would they both actually enjoy it? She suggested roller skating, ice skating, and mini golf. In their last class she told him about going to museums that Konoha had to offer from history to science. On their way home she told him that they could roam the streets walking from place to place, though she ruled that idea out because of all that walking that it implied.
She was putting so much effort into this date that she even had to ask him on, he was doing nothing but grunting and turning all her suggestions down. Could he come up with something better for them to do? Something that was fun and exciting to do?
An idea slowly came to him.
"I think I got something." Sasuke said out loud with a small smile.
"What is it little brother?" The elder Uchiha asked.
"I won't say but I'll probably need a ride." Sasuke said grabbing his phone and typing furiously.
"I'm at your disposal dear brother." The Uchiha asked. "Anything else you need?"
"Oh yeah, um Itachi?"
"Hm?"
"What should I wear?"
