ELLIE's POV

I looked at my reflection in the mirror and I smiled contentedly looking at myself. I opened the door of the fitting room just to find my sister Angelique, Angela for short, sitting on the single sofa while busy on her phone. I rolled my eyes skywards and went to the collection of clothes that I chose to try on.

We're currently at one of the luxury shops that is owned by our mother which she inherited from her parents.

"Ange, look at these clothes. Aren't they beautiful?" I said, trying to get her attention. She just came back from Greece. Her classmate Juno asked her to have a vacation in their house and she agreed. It's summer vacation after all. It's rare that she stays at home during vacation at school so whenever she comes home, I make sure to have a bonding time with her.

I asked her to go shopping with me and she agreed but her attention wasn't even with me. She's been on her phone the whole time and she's beginning to get on my nerves. Whenever I do the same, she gets pissed off at me but then she's doing the same.

I asked her to choose some clothes for me but she wasn't interested one bit. Unlike me, she hates shopping. Most of the time, she just dresses the way she wanted. If she's not attending any special occasion or party, she would just wear shirts and denims.

I felt irritated when she didn't even give me a glance. For sure, she didn't even hear what I've said to her.

"Hey, you're not listening to me!" That caught her attention and looked at me.

"What?" She said nonchalantly.

"What's wrong with you? You're more interested in your phone than spending time with me" Her eyebrows arched.

"What? I'm here with you"

"Yes, you're here but your mind is wandering somewhere else. You're even busy with your phone!" I answered with a sullen face. She chuckled and stood up.

"Aww...My little sis is jealous. I'm sorry. Adrien is just pestering me to have a date with him today" I instantly felt annoyed hearing her new boyfriend's name. Adrien had been courting her for three months before she agreed to be his girlfriend, which was right before she went to Greece for a vacation.

Honestly, I don't like Adrien for my sister. He looks like someone who will surely hurt her and up to no good. I don't know why but something's off with that guy. He looked like a psycho to me even though everybody was telling otherwise.

Yes, he looked okay and nice but I could tell that he's not what he's trying to portrait to in front of us.

"What do you even see in that guy, Ange?" Her eyes widened.

"What? Adrien is nice" I laughed.

"Nice? I think you just like him because he follows whatever you tell him to do like a dog" she rolled her eyes and shoved her phone back inside the back pocket of her jeans.

"You're just saying that because you haven't had a boyfriend yet even once"

"And that's because of you, mom and Regan. You're all very strict when it comes to me. Sometimes, I feel like I can't breathe anymore. It's unfair because they let you do whatever you want to do but when it comes to me, everything's not allowed. I'm surprised that you three allowed me to be a model even though it's not full time" I couldn't help but to feel down all of a sudden.
