ELLIE's POV

Kissing him again felt so good and felt so right even though we're not a couple and should not be doing things such as this. But it doesn't feel wrong at all.

Even though I hesitated at first, that little hesitation quickly disappeared. My brain went hazy that I couldn't think what's right anymore.

My whole attention was with the passionate kiss that we're sharing. At first, he was kissing me hungrily and wildly like he couldn't get enough of my lips, but it slowly became gentle with each passing second. Though, the effect on me was still as intense. Gentle or rough, the burning desire that he's awakening deep inside of me was still there and it's making my senses go wild.

My body felt like it wasn't mine anymore.

"God! I want you, querida" He breathed as he let go of my lips. I bit my lower lip and didn't know how to respond to his words. That heat between my legs was getting more intense and I didn't know how to deal with it.

Even though he stopped kissing me, his arms were still wrapped around me and our faces we're still so close to each other and it's making me breathless.

"What do you want from me, Rex Avis Frias?" I almost whispered. I felt like I've been asking this question way too much but needed to ask it again before I go insane.

"Why are you still asking me that? Isn't it obvious that I like you?" I gasped as my eyes widened in shock. What did he just say? He likes me?!

The beating of my heart became erratic. I wanted to speak but for some reason, I was lost for words to say. I was left speechless while gaping at him.

When he saw my reaction, he slowly let go of me and then took a step away from me. He then laughed mirthlessly as he ran his hand over his head.

"You look like you don't believe me" I bat my lashes for a couple of times before I spoke.

"It's too soon"

"Too soon? You have no idea, querida" He chuckled as his eyes became sombre. He looked like he was remembering something that made him make that kind of expression.

"You keep on saying vague things like that and honestly, your actions and words are confusing me. Now you're telling me that you like me but I don't see any basis that you're telling the truth" I heaved a sigh. I remained on my spot because I felt like if I moved, I would fall on my knees because my legs were still trembling because of the kiss that we shared.

"What do you want me to do for you to believe me?"

"Honestly, I don't know" I answered with all honesty. A small smile broke across his face as he shoved his hands inside the pockets of his pants.

"Then let me court you" I looked at him with disbelief.

"What? You don't believe that either?" He continued. I shook my head.

"It's not like that. It's just that---" He frowned.

"Then what?"

"I think it's better for you to stop this madness now. I mean, I'll be going home in about ten days. This thing between us will pass for sure and when we go on our separate ways, you'll surely meet someone else. Who knows, you'll feel more to that girl than the 'like' that you have for me" I didn't know how I managed to say all that but I'm glad I did.
