ELLIE's POV

I was about to go straight inside the walk-in closet after I went out of the bathroom when I noticed something on the bed. It was a long stemmed red rose. My heart started thumping faster upon seeing it.

The red rose was accompanied by a small white card. I took the card and then read the message inside.

'Thank you for agreeing to come with me in Grenoble, querida. I love you'

From: RV

The beating of my heart became even faster when I saw the initials of the one who gave it. RV? There's only one man who calls me querida and gives me long stemmed rose at the same time and that's none other than Rex Avis Frias...Valiente!

Why didn't I realize that before? The one who sent me the long stemmed rose before the party was Rex! RV stands for Rex Valiente!

But he was still mad at me during that time so why did he send roses to me twice? I could even recall what he said on that other note that he sent accompanied by the flower and that was for me to cancel the wedding!

I bit my lower lip upon remembering that and my heart was actually jumping for joy because even though he was still holding resentment against me during that time, he was still affected by the fact that I was getting married and he even indicated that I should cancel the wedding.

I didn't know if he did that in order to execute some of his plans against me before but I chose to believe that he did that because he was still affected and didn't want me to marry someone else.

I couldn't suppress the smile that broke across my lips. Even though my heart was still full of doubt, I knew for a fact that I still love him so much and his gestures from yesterday until now was starting to melt any doubts I have in my heart for him.

I took the rose and then sniffed it. It smelled so heavenly.

I put it back on the bed and then went to the walk-in closet to get dressed. After getting myself dressed, I sat in front of the vanity mirror and then dried my hair using the hair dryer. I didn't know why but I suddenly felt the need to put some make-up on. It was just a light make-up and then put a red lipstick on m lips.

When I finished, I went downstairs, where my children and Rex were already waiting for me. They were at the living room and watching an educational TV show. They were with my papy too who looked like he's having a good time seeing his great grandchildren bonding happily with their father. They kept on asking Rex about anything that comes to their mind and Rex was only very glad to answer.

Rexus and Avellie were always like that. They're very curious about everything and even though they're still very young, they're very eager to learn new things.

They even asked me to teach them how to paint and they're actually very good at it. When I asked them why they wanted to learn how to pain, they said that they wanted to paint me and their daddy someday.

I smiled with that memory. Now, my children could do that because Rex is already here with us.

"Shall we go?" I asked them and their attention went to me. I could see the admiration in Rex's eyes while staring at me, while my children quickly approached me while smiling.
