ELLIE's POV

I took a deep breath as I stared at the beautiful resort in front of me. Just the entrance of it was already a beauty and I couldn't wait to go inside to see some more of what they could offer.

"Let's go inside, Miss Novell. I'll show your way to your room" Mr. Davis, the manager of the resort said while smiling at me. Upon arriving at the place, he was already there, waiting for me.

I smiled at him and then nodded my head.

We entered the resort and I couldn't help but to get mesmerized of its exotic beauty. The rumors about this place were really true. I once read an article about this place on a magazine and their comments about it were all about positive things.

It was written on that article that this resort has just opened to the public 2 years ago but they're already on the top of their game. According to them, some of the Hollywood stars have been there too.

Now that I had the chance to see it in person, I thought the place was really perfect and romantic because of its location.

L'horizon jaune resort is located on a mountainous area at the Provence Alpes Côte d'azur, in the City of Vallauris, France.

"This resort has a 7 pools in total. Two of these pools are kiddie pools. We also have different kinds of cottages that caters different preferences of all the people who visits here. These cottages are just a choice if our clients doesn't want to stay in our hotel. For people who wants to enjoy our gym, pool house, cinema, casino, bowling alley in just a couple of minutes of walking, they stay at the hotel. But for someone who enjoys tranquility and more beautiful view, the cottages are for them" I've also read about those things that's why I chose to stay at the cottage. I wanted to work quietly while enjoying the beauty of the place.

"We serve international cuisines and we have excellent chefs that we're proud of. Because you'll going to stay in one of our cottages, your food will be delivered to you although it's your choice if you want to eat at the food court"

"I prefer it to be delivered in my room" he nodded his head before he continued.

"Okay, I'll let the kitchen personnel know about it. Anyway, in case you're curious about it, this place is actually a Greek inspired; to the island of Santorini to be exact. Though we made it more modern and added some other attractions" Mr. Davis said in a proud tone as we get on a golf cart.

According to him, the place was vast and it wasn't advisable for us to walk to my designated cottage because it would take us around 20 minutes to get there by foot.

While we're on our way there, I couldn't help but to enjoy looking around the area. It was breathtaking and I must admit, the brains behind this resort were very impressive because they really did a good job.

There's even a golf course that we passed by and what amazed me more was the fact that the place was so quiet and the fresh and gentle summer air was very calming and relaxing.

After a very stressful day, this kind of surroundings was all I need before working again tomorrow.

This place was undeniably a first class resort. Since it's already nightfall, the sunset was spectacular.
