ELLIE's POV

I couldn't suppress the smile that broke across my lips when I saw my children together with their father in the pool. They were obviously having a good time while swimming together. At an early age, my kids already know how to swim but I always make them wear life vests whenever they swim for safety reasons.

Avellie and Rexus kept on squealing because Rex was chasing after them whilst pretending to be a shark.

I couldn't still believe how our lives turned these past two weeks. We're still at the ranch because Rex and I decided to take a leave from our works to concentrate with our kids. We still work but at home.

Rex has been staying at the ranch since we came back from the festival and everything became busier since then because when Rex informed his grandparents about our twins, they flew right away here in France to see them.

Since the Valientes and my papy haven't seen each other for how many years, my papy offered for them to stay at the ranch. They were very emotional when they saw Rexus and Avellie. I could see the happiness on their faces as they bonded with the twins.

The house became livelier and noisier than usual. Everyday, we're having our lunch at the garden and everyone has smile on their faces. I could tell that my children were enjoying the attention that they're receiving as well.

After more than a week of staying at the ranch, the Señor and Señora Valiente needed to go back home to Spain because of an important matter that they needed to attend to.

Of course, the kids were sad about them leaving but they promised to return soon to see them again. Riri stayed for a week too before she went back to Paris to attend a business meeting.

"Good morning, guys. Looks like you're having fun, huh?" the three of them looked at me when they heard my voice.

"Good morning, querida. You look so beautiful even in the morning" I rolled my eyes but I couldn't help but to smile.

"You always say that I am beautiful everyday, querido" I said while shaking my head. I put the tray that I was holding on the round steel table and then sat on the lounge chair.

"Good morning too, mommy" our children greeted consecutively. Just seeing my family's smile already made my day.

"What is that, mommy?" Avellie asked as she eyed the tray that I was holding a while ago.

"I made some sandwich and juice. Who wants some?"

"Me, mommy! Me!" Avellie enthusiastically squealed while raising her hand. I couldn't help but to get amused of the way she answered.

"Me too, mommy. I'm hungry" Rexus then said and then got out of the swimming pool. Avellie followed her brother. I quickly took their towels and then dried them off. After that, I put their bathrobes on them.

They sat on the chairs at the table and then started eating the chicken sandwich that I prepared. Then my eyebrows furrowed when I noticed something. I looked at the pool and Rex was staring at us while still in the pool.

"What's with the staring? Aren't you going to come up here and eat, querido?" A smile stretched his lips.

"Hmmm...I thought you already forgot about me" I rolled my eyes and then approached the part of the pool which was nearest to him. I sat on a squatting position as he swam his way towards me and placed his arms over the edge of the pool.
