A/N: Be prepared.

Michael knew that something bad was going to happen if he couldn't get Jeremy out of there.

When he went to the restroom, he overheard two doctors talking about how Dr. Canigula went to visit his daughter in prison.

Michael knew how much that doctor despised Jeremy. He had to get Jeremy out of the place where many sharp medical tools were easily accessible, especially by doctors.

If the doctor was anything like Christine, he would be seeking revenge right this second.

Michael couldn't leave Jeremy alone, in fear of what could happen to him.

However, he couldn't stay next to Jeremy forever, Michael still had school.

Thankfully, it was a Saturday. Plus, one of the nicer nurses was on duty and Michael managed to convince her to let him stay overnight.

He was going to keep Jeremy safe.

Christine was able to gather that she'd been here for about a month, give or take.

A month with a minimal amount of contact with the outside world. A month without fresh air, without the soft breeze flowing through her hair.

Yeah, well how do you think Jeremy feels?

Christine threw her book at the squip, which obviously went through it.

"It was your fault, you know," Christine replied.

Yeah, I totally made you maim Jeremy when I was off. God, I hate when that happens.

"I should've just drank the Mountain Dew Red. Being extremely lonely probably would've better than this."

Or you could listen to me, just this once. Trust me on this one.

Christine rolled her eyes at the Squip, but she eventually agreed.

Perfect. Let's make this count. You have two days to plan.

Jeremy actually had a good dream that night, with zero interruptions. This was the happiest he's been since he ended up in the hospital and he never wanted this blissful moment to end.

The oh-so-beloved Dr. Canigula typically didn't have any shifts at the hospital on Sundays, so that's a two day vacation from him.

As oblivious as Jeremy usually was to things, he knew a storm was brewing inside of the doctor, and Jeremy only had a matter of time to figure out what it was.

Michael did literally everything he could to try and convince the staff to let Jeremy out early. He even attempted to bribe them, but it was useless. They weren't going to cave anytime soon, so Michael pretty much just gave up. It was all he could do.

Jeremy was currently scheduled to get out in a week, but that time apparently couldn't be cut short, even though his injuries have made a ton of improvement. He was almost able to walk without crutches, not to mention most of the cuts were only scabs now.

He hated scabs, he always has. Every time he would trip or fall off his bike as a kid, he cried, but not because it hurt. They actually rarely caused any pain for Jeremy. He would bawl because of how ugly the scabs were going to be. He admitted that it was pretty irrational, but he couldn't really help it.
