Running into the woods with my chasers, I felt the tension making me faster. The fear and the worry made my legs move fast, but my heart stop.
Desperately I tried to find somebody, something to protect myself. But I was too late, they caught up on me.

A heavy weight pushed me to the ground. The aftermath was more worse than the fall itself. I groaned trying to stand up. Again the heavy weight pushed me down, like I was some sort of scum.

"Stay down, dirty rogue! You can't come on our property, or are you that stupid." He snapped angry, making his companions laugh.

"You got the wrong one! I'm not a rogue, whatever that may be! I'm-" they cut me off.

"She's lying!" A ugly skinny boy told the heavy weight.

"I'm not, please just hear me out-" again they cut me off, but now the heavy weight.

"Why don't we let the Àlpha decide what to do with you." He grinned, making my stomach turn.

'The Alpha' seemed the worst option for me, the best for them.

They dragged me to the backyard of the biggest mansion I've ever seen in my entire life. The main colors were blue and white, both of them being my favorite color. The backyard was filled with people, who all watched me.

Couples, who stood close to each other. Families protectively over their children. Young people next to older.
They had the same thing in common, all staring disgusted in my direction.

I had stopped crying, I was sore and tired. Maybe the Àlpha wasn't as bad as I thought he would be. Maybe I could explain the situation and he would freely offer me a ride back to the orphan care.
Or maybe not.

"What's this?" A voice booms.

The hairs in my neck jump up and I freeze. A strange sensation travels across my body and I had to readjust myself. What was that?

"Àlpha, we found a rogue on your property. She lied to us and got hysterical." The heavy one informed him.

Him was the most gorgeous person to exist. His beauty was rough, but at the same time angelic and charming. That counted for his heavenly blue eyes. The rough part were the muscles and defined jawline and face. His brown hair hung softly before his forehead. There was this boyish charm about him, but he still seemed so mature and severe.

"What did she lie about?" He asked coming closer, I found myself backing away.

The heavy one pushed me foreword, making me stumble. The crowd laughed and I felt humiliated.

"She acted like she wasn't a rogue, denying it. But who am I to blame, being a rogue is so humiliating." He laughed.

The Àlpha eyed me, he was the only one who wasn't laughing. So I took my chance to clear things out.

"I don't even know what a rogue or an alpha is, please you have to believe me. They chased me and I ran, I thought they were going to abuse me. Please, I-" he cut off my begs.

"Did you lose your memory?" He asked.

"No, i didn't. I know who I am! I don't know who you guys are. Please you have to believe me." I cried out.

"Don't be so disrespectful!" The ugly skinny snapped at me and stepped forward to slap me, but a hand stopped him.

It was the Àlpha. He was so close now and my knees started to tremble. He smelled like a delicious cologne and I had the strange desire to hug him, snuggle with him. Okay, I was freaking out!

"Don't touch her." He growled.

The ugly skinny whimpered and backed away in fear. This Àlpha guy must be pretty important in this community.

"Peter!" He asked an old man, his voice now friendly.

The old man slowly came over with a young girl holding his hand. She was adorable with her two braids and cute pink dress.
He held out his hand for me, the Àlpha eyeing me to do as told. I took hold of the old hand. It was death silent, everybody eying us curiously.

"Her wolf is dis-activated for seventeen years already. I assume that's her age. She's one of the victims." This made the entire crowd go deathly silent. I could hear my own breathing.

"Victim?" I asked, tired of the anticipation.

"Are you an orphan?" The Àlpha asked, completely ignoring my question.

"Yes, but-" he caught me off, turning away from me.

Everybody started to gush, leaving me clueless. I hated it, they called me a victim. And I couldn't even know from what!
So I grabbed the Àlpha by his arm and turned him to me, hearing people gasp.

"You can't just leave me hanging! Tell me!" I demand.

He towered me with all his rage, but I didn't stumble backwards. I moved closer to him. I wasn't even slightly scared.
His expression suddenly changed, shock and maybe even fear goes through them.

"Get her a room." He instructed heavy weight.

"But she's-" the Àlpha cut him off.

"She's my mate and you do as I tell you!" He exclaimed.

Okay there way too many silences. But this one was the hardest, even the Àlpha was deathly silent. So many emotions flashed through his eyes, but he quickly turned to stone. Not letting me see.

The heavy one started to walk and I followed unwillingly, I looked back at the Àlpha and started at him. His eyes never left mine. I don't know what a mate is, but I knew it was something dear to his heart. And even mine.
