This may sound so strange, but my dad was definitely a hunk when he was younger and still is. I watched his coronation with him, noticing my grandfather, my dad resembled much of him. The same blond hair and striking features.

"Oh, back when my skin wasn't wrinkled", he sighed and I let out a laugh.

"Dad, you look great for your age. I've honestly seen worse", I assured him.

He shrugged and the film ended. I had taken notes as he told me to do. My stomach turned when I saw Isabel, his first mate and witch. It surprised me I recognized her even though I only saw her in a young child's form.

"Was it hard to choose between mom and Isabel?", I asked him.

"Of course, but even before I figured out she was a dark witch, I knew I only wanted your mother. I've learned you can never love two people the same amount, you'll always love someone more, even if it's just a bit more",

"How was mom when she was younger?",

"Innocent and shy one minute and the other like a glorious goddess",

I giggled and remembered my mom telling me about her time in the Royal Theatre, where she met my dad. Now I knew where I got my strange obsession with music from.

"Have you spoke to Ryder?", my dad asked carefully.

"Yes, we talk everyday and you know that", I teased him.

"I don't like it that you've found your mate and all, but I do appreciate that it's Ryder. He's a good guy and I know he'll take great care of you",

I smiled gratefully and pulled him in for a tight hug. At moments like this I turned upset. I wanted to have spend my life with him, grow up under his supervision. I wanted to have been raised by them.

"You're twentieth birthday is in a few days", he reminded me.

"I know", I've never got over my hate for my birthday.

My actual birthday was a few days before my fake one. Not big of a difference, but I still had a traumatic experience with birthdays. I don't like them.

"You never told me why you didn't like birthdays", he commented.

I sighed and fell backwards in the soft sofa. He looked at me and I shrugged.

"It's kind of depressing",

"Mona", he insisted.

"I never had an actual birthday party back when I was at the orphanage. And the thought that I didn't even know my own real birthday combined with it made me hate the concept of it. My childhood wasn't glamorous",

"I'm sorry, sweetheart", he pulled me in for a hug.

I sighed and held into him, feeling safe and secure. This was something I wanted since the beginning. My dad.

When I walked through the hallways I could feel something was off. Maids were giggling and guards smiling too brightly and wishing me a happy birthday.

I don't like birthdays.

I finally arrived at the dining room, it sounded awfully quiet. Normally I would hear my siblings already chatting, I'm always late. Standing up early was not my thing.

A work point for when I became Queen.

Guards opened the doors for me and I almost fell on the ground from shock. All my friends stood there with balloons and signs.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!", they screamed.

I eyed them in disbelief. Rosalie and Alexander to Rhyme and Marcus along with some high school friends and finally my man, Ryder. He looked better than the last time I saw him. Stronger, taller and more handsome.

This boy just kept getting better. Which was really unfair to me. I had to stand next to him looking like a pig!

"W-what?", stumbled out of my mouth.

"It's a surprise party!", my mom cheered overexcited.

I smiled shyly and let people attack me with hugs. Rosalie comes first and jumps on me, I've missed her. She lives in Italy with Alexander and he rarely lets her out of his sight. Possessive was an understatement.

"You're twenty now, one year and we'll be headed off to clubs!", she grinned like a devil.

"I think I'll be busy ruling a country", I told her.

"Don't ruin this, girl", she warned me and I grinned.

Rhyme was next and I felt her pregnant stomach pressing against me. She was highly pregnant, due any moment. I laid my hand on the stomach, feeling him kick.

It was a boy.

"How is he?",

"Great, the doctor thinks he'll be out soon",

"That's amazing...", I bowed to her stomach.

"Can't wait to meet you, little bud", I smiled.

Marcus pulled me in for a hug next and I patted my big teddy bear. He was one of my best friends, so Ryder aloud him to touch me. I swear mister Alpha got too possessive at times, at least not as bad as Alexander.

Thinking about him made me look at him, he was impatiently waiting for me and I winked at him. My feet took over and I ran straight in his arms, while he span is around.

I haven't touched or seen him in three months. It has been a hell without him. I was busy preparing for the throne, while he was busy ruling a pack.

"You've grown", he commented.

My eyes grew and I squealed in delight. Finally, I thought I would stay a little dwarf for the rest of my life! He was right, normally I would come to his chest, now I came to his chin. I felt quite proud of that.

"I'll be bigger than you one day", I grinned.

"Female wolfs stop growing when they reach the age of twenty", Alexander muttered ruining my vibe.

"Oh, how lovely to see you again too, Alexandria", I grinned.

"Don't call me by such female name",

"Why not, Alexandria", I teased him.

"Watch out, golden monkey, Italy is a great alley, you don't want to loose us", he grinned.

Of course we were teasing each other and we would never let the alliance crumble, it only gotten stronger since Rosalie turned out to be his mate.

My family pressured me to my seat and everybody took a seat, the table was surrounded with people I love. This was maybe the first time ever, but this definitely was the best birthday.
