The Adventurer

Meet Josh.

He's a graduate in Business Management. All his life, he wanted to be a businessman because he wanted to be rich and successful. Unfortunately, his dream turned to an obsession.

He even tells his friend, Alex that he would give up his life for his business.

Alex was very worried because she doesn't want his friend to end up buried with problems.

So one time when they were together, Alex blurted, "Ever heard of Booby Traps?"

"Booby traps? You mean from pyramids?" Josh responds.

"Yeah well, I've got a story about it. You want to hear it?"

"Sure. I'm all ears" Josh says.

"So there was this adventurer who traveled all the way to Egypt. When he came there, he saw pyramids. Sacred pyramids and he know for sure there is something valuable found inside. So getting in there was easy, so was finding the treasure. Just a glance of those treasures which filled the room was already the apple of the eye for the adventurer. He grabbed as many as treasures as he can but the last thing on his mind was is he going to be able to make it out alive. As he left, he was caught in the booby trap. He was locked inside and then sand was pouring fast!"

"Then what happened?" Josh interrupted

"Let me finish." Alex said. "So the adventurer was looking for his way out until he found a small opening that leads outside to the pyramid. Unfortunately, the opening was only fit for him, so he won't be able to bring his treasure with him. The adventurer was having second thoughts whether to leave the treasure and save his life or bring his treasure and stay there."

Alex suddenly asked Josh, "If you were the troubling adventurer, what would you do? Would you sacrifice your greatest treasure instead of saving your life?"

Josh giggled, "Why would you ask such a question? I'm not the adventurer. Now really, what did the adventurer did on the story?"

"How should I know? You were the adventurer in the story I was telling you." Alex shrugged.

"But I'm not." He defended.

"You will be soon."

Josh stopped and thought for a moment. He was shocked when he knew that he was the adventurer. He suddenly realized that it will happen to him someday that he will be hungry for money and success.

Then he answered, "Of course I will save my life. Because you'll never get your life back once you lose it. Rather than treasures"

Alex happily said, "I'm so glad you have thought of that!"

"Of course I wouldn't think of that without your guidance. Thanks for always being there for me. You just saved my life!" Josh happily says.

Any adventurer who travels down the path always meets someone on the way. Take the opportunity to use their help and of course, return the favor. This will always come in handy to lead you to your success.

Anyways, my day is an adventure. Woke up, took a bath, had brunch, went to school to get my report card, (it's okay. All of my grades are of 90 ad above.), then I went straight to the college I'm attending to this year to enroll, then went straight to the mall to eat, (Halo-Halo is Yum!), and lastly grocery shopping.

Tagaytay bound tomorrow! Woohoo!
