MCSM ONE SHOTS

Lukas walks around Beacontown only to bump into Jesse.

Jesse glances at him and frowns.
"That's a rare expression nowadays," he says.

Jesse laughs nervously and motions Lukas to follow him.
They go sit at a nearby bench in front of a fountain.

"Remember Aiden?" Jesse asks raising an eyebrow at Lukas.
Lukas sits up. "Of course I remember him...that backstabbing traidor?"

Jesse narrows his eyes. "Are you asking me or are you describing him?"
"Definitely describing him," he nods.

"Well," Jesse continues. "He's finally out of prison and since the last time we talked-"

"You went to go visit him?" Lukas cut him off.

"Well duh. I don't want to seem like the bad guy. Petra and I went to go bring him some new clothes..." Jesse trails off.

Lukas narrows his eyes at him. "Why are you telling me this?"
Jesse takes a deep breath in and blurts out, "Aiden was released from prison and is going to visit us tonight."

Lukas stays silent. When Jesse notices he keeps talking rapidly about how it's a bad idea to trust him now.

Lukas runs a hand through his hair and stops Jesse from talking by grabbing him firmly by the shoulder.

"Jesse!...he's not a dangerous criminal-"
"Pft! Dheicn what?!" Jesse makes weird noises.

"I mean, he's vulnerable now and I don't think he can cause anymore trouble. Just leave it to me. We were friends and I think I know his weak spots so if he tries anything funny, I'll contact you right away."

Jesse calms down and sighs.
"I trust you." With that, Jesse leaves.

*Night*

Lukas waits at the front gates for Aiden to come in case he tries to sneak in and steal something.

Jesse is with him.

They stop chatting when they hear leaves crunching and footsteps approaching.

Jesse goes to take his sword out but pauses when Lukas places a hand on his arm.

A shadow emerges into the light.
It was Aiden with a bag over his shoulder, well brushed hair, and new clothing gear.

Lukas stares for too long making Aiden look away.

Jesse walks toward him.
"I'm watching you. Now hurry. We have the perfect room for you."
He grins evilly.

Aiden raises an eyebrow.
"You've changed Jesse. In a good way I mean. You're not so gullible anymore. It's a good look for you," he smirks.

Jesse frowns.
"Get moving."

Aiden laughs and follows him.

"Wait!" Lukas holds out his arm but quickly let it fall.

Both Jesse and Aiden glance at him.

"Let me talk to him first, Jesse."

Jesse looks at Aiden and then switches to Lukas then to Aiden.
"Don't take too long and don't try anything funny."

Aiden and Lukas watch as Jesse disappears into a corner.

Lukas sighs getting Aiden's attention.

He sets his bag down and crosses his arms.
"What do you want?" He asks coldly.

Lukas flinches and looks hurt making Aiden regret his tone.

"I just wanted to see how you're holding up. I know it's a lot to take in right now with Jesse being cold with you and possibly other people too." Lukas says.

Aiden looks down and nods.
"I've missed you."

Lukas's eyes widen at the remark.

"We were good friends back then but now..." Aiden trails off.

Lukas goes over to stand next to Aiden.
"I'm willing to give you another chance."

His eyes light up but then stop.
"After all I've done? You must be crazy! I don't deserve this," Aiden leans against the wall.

"You're an exception....to me." Lukas quickly regrets what he said.

Aiden chuckles.
"Riiiight."
He sighs and his next move frightens but makes his heart jump to Lukas.

He hugs Lukas.
Lukas stiffens but then hugs back.

Jess then pops out of nowhere.

Her eyes widen but then a large grin grows on her face.
She sneaks up on the boys and yells "boo!"

The boys jumps back separating themselves from the hug.

Lukas looks at Jess.
Aiden stares at Jess.

"Bro said you'd be here. Hmm. Guess I came at a wrong time. Silly me."
She immediately starts laughing.

Aiden keeps staring at her.

Jess and Lukas glance at him.
In the end, he got two smacks to the head.
