Chapter 18: After USJ

"Hey, did you watch the news last night?" Hagakure asked.
"Yeah," Ojiro replied.

You nodded your head.

"Did you see how everyone in class was on screen for a second?"

She moved as if she was putting her hand on her chest.

"I didn't stand out at all..." She sighed.
"That's true," Shoji stated.
"It's hard to stand out looking like that, huh?" Ojiro said trying to reassure her.
"W-well, it's kinda difficult to stand out when you're um... invisible," You pointed out, "But you shouldn't worry! I'm sure lots of companies will want an invisible superhero. You'd be good for stealth missions!"
"You really think so?" She wondered.
"Of course," You nodded.
"But man, all the channels made a big deal out of it," You heard Kaminari's voice say.

You turned to look at him.

"I was surprised," Kirishima admitted.
"Can you really blame them though?" You cut in. "The hero course that keeps pumping out pro heroes was attacked. It was bound to make headlines."
"Who knows what would've happened if the pros didn't come when they did-" Sero gets interrupted.
"Stop that, Sero!!" Mineta cried. "Just thinking about it is making me wet myself-"
"Shut up! Be quiet, Scum!!" Katsuki suddenly snapped.

You smiled at Katsuki's comment.

"But man, All Might was great. He pushed back those crazy strong villains," Sato chimed.
"Yes. His strength is worth wondering at," Tokoyami commented.

Suddenly Iida came running into the room. He stood at the front of the classroom and made huge gestures with his arms.

"Everyone!! Morning Homeroom is about to start!" Iida loudly proclaimed. "Stop talking and take your seats!!"
"We're already in our seats," You stated. "Actually, you're the only one who's not, Deputy."

He plopped down in his chair, tensed and trembling.

"Shoot!" He muttered.
"Don't worry about it!" Uraraka chimed.
"Tsu, who's..." Ashido leaned back in her chair and Tsu caught her right before she fell. "...gonna teach homeroom today?"
"Well, Mr. Aizawa is supposed to be in the hospital recovering from his injuries..." Tsu said.

The classroom door slid open.

"Morning," Mr. Aizawa stated through all the bandages on his face.

Everyone was shocked that he was here.

'But I thought he was supposed to be recovering!?!' You thought to yourself.

"Mr. Aizawa, you're back too soon!!" The whole class exclaimed.
"You're too much of a pro," Kaminari gasped.
Iida shot his hand into the air, "So you're all right, Mr. Aizawa?!"
"Can you really call that all right? You can't even see his face," You quietly mumbled to yourself.
"My well-being doesn't matter. More importantly, the fight is not yet over," He stated.
"Fight?" Katsuki questioned.
"Don't tell me..." Midoriya trailed off.
"Is it the-" You wondered.
"The villains, again?!" Mineta worried.

Mr. Aizawa glared at the class from beneath his bandages.

"The U.A. sports festival is drawing near."

"That's a super normal school event!!" Everyone cheered.

"I know it's better than something with the villains, but it isn't exactly normal. I'm pretty sure no other schools make their students fight head-to-head with their Quirks at full power," You mumbled.
"Yeah, I kinda agree," You hear Sero say behind you.

You turn around to face him.

"Although, it is pretty cool to watch. And to think we'll be taking part in it!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah," You nodded, "I can't wait."
