It was the day of the Entrance Exams. The train ride was an agonizing two hours, but you were finally approaching U.A's entrance. Your bag was slung over your shoulder and you had your previous school's uniform on. You looked around at all the other students around you also hoping to get in to UA. To rephrase: you were scoping out the competition.

'Wow, these are a lot of kids to beat,' You thought to yourself, 'I wonder what Quirks everyone has.'

You walked into the school building and picked up your exam ticket which told you your assigned classroom to take the written exam. The exam was a breeze since you were used to these kinds of paper-and-pencil tests.

After you had finished the written test, you went to the auditorium, and you were proud to say that you only got lost once. You sat in your school's assigned area. As you looked over your exam ticket, a girl sat next to you.

"Hey! I know you! You're the really nice one in my math! Your name was... (L/n), right?" The girl said with a smile.

You looked up at her and immediately recognized her due to her pink, round cheeks.

"Oh yeah! You're Uraraka," You replied.
She nodded, "M-hm! I'm so glad I ran into someone I know."
"Me too," You agreed.

Suddenly, the lights dimmed and the stage lights came on.

"What's up UA candidates?" A guy on stage asked in a very over-enthusiastic voice, "Thank you for tunin' in to me, your school DJ! Come on and lemme hear ya!!"

The crowd stayed silent.

"Keepin' it mellow, huh? That's fine, I'll skip straight to the main show. Let's talk about how this practical exam is gonna go down, okay?" He asked, "Are you ready?!"

The crowd stayed silent again.

By now, you recognized him as the superhero Present Mic.

"Like your application said, today you rockin' boys and girls will be out there conducting ten minute mock battles in super hip urban settings!" Present Mic said, "Gird your loins my friends, after I drop the mic here you'll head to your specified battle center sound good?"

He was met with silence from the crowd.

"Okayy!" He shouted.

Uraraka looked at your card.

"They must have changed our battle center so that we can't work with any of our friends," She said.

You looked at her card. She had center B and you had center A.

"Oh well, I'm sure you'll do great," You assured with a warm smile.
"Okay, Okay, let's check out your targets," Present Mic continued, "There are three types of faux villains in every center. You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty. So better choose wisely. Your goal in this trial is to use your quirk to raise your score to shred these villains like a mid-song guitar solo. But Check it! Make sure you're keepin' things heroic. Attacking other examinees is a UA no-no, ya dig?"
"Excuse me sir, but I have a question," You heard a loud voice cut through the silent crowd.
"Hit me!" Present Mic proclaimed.

All heads turned to the source of the voice. A boxy student was standing up as the spotlight shined onto him.

"On the printout, you've listed four types of villains, not three. With all respect, if this is an error on official UA materials, it is shameful. We are exemplary students. We expect the best from Japan's most notable school. A mistake such as this won't do. Additionally, you with the unkempt hair," The student pointed behind him to a plain looking kid.

Uraraka leaned over to you.

"Hey, that's the guy I stopped from falling earlier today," She whispered.
