"All right!" Present Mic announced. "Let's leave the tournament aside for a momentary interlude!"

Fireworks went off.

"Let's have fun with the recreation!!" He exclaimed.

The crowd cheered for the fun activities. Your female classmates, who were wearing cheerleading outfits, all jumped up and cheered to support the recreational activities.

"First is the scavenger hunt!" Present Mic announced.

Most of the students went to go grab their card for the scavenger hunt. But since you were in the tournament, you had a choice to participate in the activities or not. Your mother would have wanted you to support and show your school spirit by participating in the recreational activities, but you honestly didn't give a crap. You didn't want to think about your mother. You decided it was more beneficial to you if you didn't partake in the events and instead prepared for the tournament.

So, while everybody else was doing the scavenger hunt, you left the stadium. You walked into the forested area around the stadium. You didn't go too far in, but just far enough to not be distracted by the sounds of the people.

You sat and leaned up against a tree. You closed your eyes and relaxed. You relaxed your tensed muscles and you evened out your breathing. You took in deep, slow breathes of the rich, earthy, forest air. Your other senses heightened at the absence of your sight. You breathed in the natural smell of the environment around you. You heard the breeze rustling the leaves, and you felt the movement of the animals in the forest.

You felt the water around you. The vapor in the air, the water coursing through the plants and trees. You felt it all. You extracted some of the water vapor from the air and the plants. With your eyes closed and your hands planted in your lap, you moved the water into one blob. You moved it around effortlessly with your mind. You created shapes and really just played around with the water.

You opened your eyes and dispersed the water back to where it came from. You got up, deciding it was probably a good idea to head back to the stadium.

As you walked back, you noticed a vending machine full of drinks. You thought that it wouldn't hurt to stock up on a whole bunch of water to use, so you bought about 5 water bottles from the machine. You held your left hand out and used your quirk to suspend them in the air in order to bring them with you. You took one of the bottles and started downing it as you walked back to the stadium.

As you neared the stadium, you heard Present Mic's voice.

"Alright! And that's the end of the recreational activities! Students, Please start making your way to your seats in the stands as we prepare the stage!"

'I came back at the perfect time. How convenient,' You thought to yourself.

You started heading towards your class's assigned area in the stands with your 4 water bottles following behind you.

You were still downing your first bottle when you heard Kirishima's voice behind you.

"Wow, (L/n)! You're really drinking a lot of water there!"

You turned around and faced him. You took the bottle away from your lips and sweetly smiled at him.

"Nah, it's actually vodka to numb the pain during my battles," Is what you would've liked to say, but what you really said was "Yeah, I just wanna be really prepared for my battle, ya know?"

Kirishima nodded, "Yeah, staying hydrated is a great way to make sure you're ready!" He agreed.

You walked to your class's section in the stands with Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero, and Ashido.

You guys picked seats by the edge close to the stairs. Kirishima sat on the way end, then it was you, Denki, Sero, and Ashido. You were all talking and getting along fine until Katsuki showed up.

"Oi, move it weird-hair," Katsuki demanded.
"What? Bakugou, I was here first," Kirishima defended.
"I said move it!" Katsuki raised his voice.
"Bakugou, there's a seat next to Ashido-" Sero got cut off.
"Shut it, Soysauce face!" Bakugou snapped. "I wanna sit on the edge."
"Okay man, geez, I'll let you sit here," Kirishima said as he got up.

Kirishima moved over next to Ashido, and Bakugou plopped down next to you.

"What is his problem? It's just a seat..." Ashido commented.

You looked over at her and nodded in agreement. You turned to Katsuki.

"Katsuki, you could've at least asked nicely..." You said in a soft voice, trying to not anger him.

Katsuki just crossed his arms and grumbled, not responding.

You sighed and shook you're head as you opened the next bottle of water and started drinking it. There was no way to tame this explosive boy.

Soon, Cementoss finished making the stage for the tournament battles, and Present Mic started speaking.

"Hey guys, are you ready?!"

The crowd went wild and started cheering.

"A lot's happened, but it's now come to this! A serious battle! You can only depend on yourself! Even if you're not a hero, you'll face many situations like that! You get it, right? Heart, skill, body, wisdom, and knowledge! Use all of that to rush up!" Present Mic said, trying to hype up and inspire everybody.

The audience cheered, the time for the battle was approaching.

"Audience! The finals that you've all been waiting for are finally starting! Match number one- Even though he's done well, what's with that face? From the hero course, it's Izuku Midoriya!" Present Mic announed, "Versus- Sorry, he hasn't done anything to stand out yet! From general studies, it's Hitoshi Shinsou!"

The two walked out from opposite sides of the stadium and walked onto the stage as Present Mic talked.

"The rules are simple! Force your opponent out of bounds, or immobilize them! You can also win by making your opponent say 'I give up!'" Bring on the injuries because we've got out very own Recovery Girl waiting on standby! Put your morals and ethics aside for a moment! But of course, anything life-threatening is crap! It's not allowed! Heroes should only use their fists to catch villains!"

The two boys stared at each other

"Ready??" Present Mic asked, "Start!!"
