You were about to leave for school. You were at the door dressed in your uniform, your shoes were on, and your bag was over your shoulder. Before you could leave, you were swarmed by your family. Yuuto, Shinju, and Kaito were all hugging you. All of them being shorter than your shoulders.
"Good luck, (Y/n)!" Shinju chimed.
"I'm gonna cheer for you suuuper loud!" Kaito said to you.
"Yeah! Kick everyone else's butt!" Yuuto exclaimed.
You're dad placed a hand on your shoulder, "Sorry I can't be there to watch you, but I know you'll do great."
You smiled at all of them encouraging you. It filled you with hope.
"Thanks guys, I'll do my best for you," You declared with a smile.
You looked up at the kitchen. Your mom was at the kitchen counter packing Yuuto's lunch. She looked up at you.
"You'll be on live TV," She informed, "Carry the family name and win."
Those words were probably the most encouraging thing you had ever heard from your mom. But when you looked into her eyes, it was a pure you-better-win-this-festival-or-else look.
You nodded, "Got it."
You opened the front door.
"Bye guys, Wish me luck!"
"Bye, (Y/n)!" Your siblings all shouted.
You walked out the door and made your way to school.

Everyone was waiting for the Sports Festival to start. Everyone was dressed in their PE uniforms and sitting in the class waiting room. You sat next to Katsuki, and he surprisingly didn't make you get up and find another spot.
"Aw... I wanted to wear my costume," Ashido whined.
"To keep everything fair, we can't," Ojiro explained.
"I wonder what the first round's gonna be..." Sato wondered.
"No matter what comes, we have no choice but to deal with it," Tokoyami stated.
"Right," Shoji agreed.
The waiting room door shot open.
"Everyone! Are you ready?" Iida asked in a bold voice, "We will be entering soon!"
You took a deep breath and rested your head on your arms.
"Midoriya," You heard Todoroki's voice state.
You turned your head so that it was still resting in your arms, but so that you could see what was happening.
"Todoroki? What is it?" Midoriya asked.
"Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you," Todoroki stated.
'What's going on? He said that so bluntly,' You thought to yourself.
"Huh? Y-yeah," Midoriya nodded his head.
"But...All Might has his eye on you, doesn't he? I'm not trying to pry about that, but I'm going to beat you," Todoroki proclaimed.
"Oh? Is the best in class making a declaration of war?" Kaminari wondered in amusement.
Kirishima got up and placed his hand on Todoroki's shoulder.
"Hey, hey, hey! Why are you picking a fight all of a sudden?" Kirishima asked, "Not now, we're about to start!"
Todoroki shrugs off Kirishima's hand, "We're not here to play at being friends. So what does it matter?"
"Todoroki, I don't know what you're thinking when you say you'll beat me, but of course you're better than me. I think you're more capable than most people. Looking at it objectively..." Midoriya said.
"Midoriya, you probably shouldn't talk so negatively-" Kirishima got interrupted.
"But, everyone- The students from the other classes are aiming for the top with everything they've got. I can't afford to fall behind. I'll be going for it with everything I have, too," Midoriya finished.
"Yeah," Todoroki replied.
