(A/n: I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT POSTING!! IT WAS EASTER WEEKEND AND I GOT BUSY, NOT TO MENTION SCHOOL WORK. But the main reason is because I'm working really hard on something for a future chapter that should be coming out in about 2 weeks. I've been working on this "project" for more than 2 months and it's coming along slowly. So hopefully I can get it done!! But anyway, I apologize for forgetting to post. 🙇♀️🙇♀️ <3~Author-chan)
"Start!!"
For the first few minutes nothing happened. But then, Midoriya suddenly started advancing towards Purple Hair. He started to run, but suddenly halted.
"What happened?" You quietly wondered out loud.
"Aughhh! I went through the trouble of warning him, too!" Ojiro exclaimed in a distressed voice as he stood up.
You looked over at Ojiro, then back at Midoriya. Did Ojiro know what was going on? You weren't really sure, but you recalled Ojiro teaming up with the Purple-Haired guy for the cavalry battle. Maybe he did know what was happening.
"Hey, hey, what's the matter?" Present Mic questioned. "It's the first match! Liven things up!"
Despite what he shouted, Midoriya didn't move, neither did Purple Hair.
"Midoriya! The match just started and he's completely frozen?! He's got a blank look on his face and isn't moving a muscle! Is this Shinsou's Quirk?!" Present Mic wondered. "He didn't stand out at all, but could he actually be someone amazing?"
You leaned back in your chair, the gears in your head started turning. If this guy could stop Midoriya in his tracks so easily, he was sure to win. But, how is he doing it? What triggers it? What was his quirk? At this rate, he'd be able to win every match like it's nothing. Does he have any limits? What are you going to do if, no, when you went up against him.
You kept thinking and observing Shinsou and his Quirk for when you went up against him later since it didn't seem like Midoriya was going to win, and there was no way you were going to lose either.
"Hitoshi Shinsou from General Studies has gotten the better of Izuku MIdoriya from the Hero Course!" Present Mic announced, "Who would've imagined this?! Will the bottom really overthrow the top?"
"That's why I said the entrance exam wasn't rational," A dull voice spoke over the speakers.
You recognized it as your homeroom teacher, Mr. Aizawa's, voice.
"Huh? What?" Present Mic questioned.
"Here's some data based on the two of them," Mr. Aizawa stated. "Since it's the individual matches from here on out, I had someone compile it for me. Shinsou failed the practical exam for the hero course. Since he also applied for general studies, he probably knew that would happen. His Quirk is very powerful, but the practical exam consisted of fighting faux villains. That gave an advantage to those with physical attack Quirks. Shinsou wouldn't have been able to rack up any points with his Quirk."
"Turn around and walk out of bounds," Shinsou ordered
On command, Midoriya slowly started walking back to where he came from. He slowly trudged along, swaying side to side as he did so as if in a trance.
"Whaatt?? Midoriya's being so obedient!!" Present Mic exclaimed.
"Deku, why?" Uraraka cried.
"If you go out of bounds, then you'll lose the match!" Iida exclaimed as he wildly waved his arms everywhere.
You just silently watched and observed much like bakugou was alongside you.
Present Mic tried his best to commentate the battle which was hard since Midoriya was just slowly walking out of bounds.
