Logic was reading in the common room of Thomas's mind when Morality came up to him.

"Hey, Logan!" He said.

Logic looked up from his book. "Yes?"

"I'm bored." Morality said, stretching out on the couch next to Logic. "Let's do something!"

"I am doing something. I'm reading." Logic said.

"Let's do something together! Like a game!" Morality said. "Let's play a word association game!"

"You want to play a word association game?" Logic said.

"How about this..." Morality said. "If you win, then you can go back to reading and I'll go away. However, if I win, I get... a wish."

"A wish?" Logic repeated. "We're not magical beings, Patton. We might be able to shapeshift and teleport, but we can't grant wishes."

"I'll make it reasonable." Morality promised.

"Okay, then." Logan said. "It's undeniable that I indeed have a love for word association games, so... I agree to your terms. Let's play a word association game."

Morality grinned.

"You wish to do the honors of starting us off?" Logic said.

Morality thought of a word. "Dogs!"

"Cats." Logan said, an obvious choice.

"Lions!" Morality said.

"Panthers." Logan said.

"Football!" Morality said.

"Soccer."

"Baseball!"

"Bats."

"Caves!"

Logan struggled to think of a word that had to do with caves, and it didn't help that Morality was grinning at him, in the adorable way he does.

Think, Logan. Don't get distracted.

The thirty-second time limit was almost up.

Stalagmites. Of course.

But before Logan could say it, Morality called time.

"That's thirty seconds." Morality said. "Better luck next time, Logan!"

Logic sighed. "I'm never going to live this loss down, am I?"

Morality shook his head teasingly. "Nope! It'll be like infini—"

"ONE TIME, PATTON! ONE TIME!" Logan nearly screeched.

Morality giggled.

"Alright, well..." Logan sighed and looked at Morality expectantly.

"You lost! Now I get a wish!" Morality said.

"What wish?" Logan asked.

Morality climbed into Logan's lap and softly placed his lips on Logic's.

Logan blushed.

"That wish." Morality smiled at Logan.

Logan struggled to form words. "Uh..."

"Does that make losing worth it?" Morality teased.

Logic nodded.

"I'm glad." Morality said.
