I'm back to writing requests! I actually rewrote this one shot three times cause I wasn't happy with how it turned out, so I hope you like it. Requested by Save_Them , who later clarified that the fourth wall break part of the request is that Logan spends his day off hanging out with me, the author. I'm honored. Thanks for giving me a day with Logan, I appreciate it.

It took Thomas and the traits a good amount of persistence to finally convince Logan to take a day off, but it was worth it. It was obvious Logan needed one. He was always overworking himself, and it wasn't healthy.

There was a corner of Thomas's mind palace that had some sort of strange area. It sort of lead to some sort of alternate universe... None of the traits understood it, but they had given up trying. Logan wanted to explore it, so that's what he decided he would do for the day.

Just as he was about to leave, he turned back to the other three traits. "You sure you'll be okay? You know that, as I go into the depths of the mind palace, Thomas will slowly start to lose his logical thinking, right?"

"Don't worry, we have it under control. We can babysit Thomas." Roman said. "I mean, he'll just act like a really stupid kid, right?"

"Not exactly." Logan said.

"Well, we had it under control when Virgil went missing, now didn't we?" Roman asked.

"That was different. Thomas was without fear then. Now he'll be without logic, which might cause a whole bunch of other problems." Logan said.

"Don't worry, if it means you get a much-needed day off, then it's worth it." Patton said.

Logan smiled at the three of them. "Thank you." He started to leave, then immediately turned around. "Oh, and one more thing. Please try not to burn down Thomas's entire apartment building while I'm gone."

"Wow, such faith." Virgil said sarcastically. "Just go, Logan. We'll be fine, I promise."

Logan nodded, and left.

If you thought Thomas without fear was interesting, Thomas without logic was even more so.

Roman was given the job of trying to make up for Thomas's lack of motivation due to Logan's absence. He was feeding Thomas new ideas, but that just led to the horrible feeling when you have an idea but no motivation to actually do it. Patton tried to get Thomas motivated by making him excited, but... It wasn't the same.

Virgil was attempting to make up for the lack of basic intelligence by overdosing on the fear. He would make Thomas scared to do things he would normally know not to do.

It was pretty early on in the day when Thomas started doing stuff he shouldn't, but of course he didn't know that without his logical thinking. When he made an omelette for himself, he didn't use a spatula, and instead used his fingers (he had washed his hands beforehand, at least, because Roman told him to).

Worried that he was going to burn himself, Virgil did what he could to stop Thomas. Of course, that meant he gave Thomas a wave of sudden and sickening anxiety.

It worked. Thomas withdrew his hand. But he wasn't looking good. His breath was short and choppy, and he was near a panic.
