[Logince] ~ Valentine's Day

I didn't post anything on actual Valentine's Day when I had originally planned to, but late is better than nothing... even if it's three, four days late. I've realized that I write too much Prinxiety, so I'm trying to write more of the less mainstream ships, and Logince is by far my favorite non-mainstream ship, and anyone who knows me knows that I really do love Logince a lot. So I'm going to write more of it, along with other non-mainstream ships that I think are adorable.

"Virgil, I need help."

Virgil looked up at the fanciful trait that had burst into his room uninvited. "Yeah?"

"You're friends with Logan. Does he... like anyone?" Roman asked.

Virgil snorted.

"What?" Roman replied, suddenly defensive.

"I'm surprised you haven't noticed. He's not exactly... subtle." Virgil said, grinning to himself like he knew something, and it was humorous to him.

"Well, who is it?" Roman asked.

"It's you, you dumbass." Virgil replied.

Roman smiled. "Me?"

"Honestly, I don't know what the guy sees in you, but... Yeah." Virgil said.

"Okay, thank you!" Roman said. "That's all I needed to know."

Roman left Virgil's room in a manner that was almost jogging, as if he had excited energy all of a sudden.

Virgil rolled his eyes fondly at his friend, and went back to his laptop.

However, not even twenty seconds later, Roman came running back into Virgil's room. "One more thing, sorry—"

Virgil looked up.

"Hypothetically speaking, how would one, I don't know, plan out a romantic Valentine's Day date for a certain nerd that one is romantically interested in?" Roman asked. "Hypothetically."

Virgil smiled softly. "You're about to make a certain nerd really happy."

Valentine's Day morning, Roman searched through the mind palace to find Logan.

"Oh! There you are." Roman said.

Logan looked up. "Were you looking for me?"

Roman nodded. "You busy?"

"I'm not doing anything of importance at the moment, no." Logan replied. "Why?"

"You know what today is, right?" Roman asked.

"February 14th." Logan replied. "Also known as Valentine's Day."

"Yes, and..." Roman met Logan's eyes. "I was wondering if you'd like to spend the day with me. Romantically. On a date."

Logan met Roman's eyes on what looked like a mix of shock and confusion. He struggled to speak for a moment before finally managing something out. "I... I believe that would be rather enjoyable, yes."

Roman smiled. "Great! I have a place in the mind palace set up, so..."

"You do?" Logan asked.

He nodded. "I asked Virgil about things you'd like. I figured Virgil would know, since you guys are good friends and all. And I am the creative and fanciful trait, so I'm good at all things imagination and mind palace, so I just came up with a little mind palace. Nothing big, but it'll do."

Logan smiled. "You asked Virgil what I'd like?"

"Yeah. Should I not have?" Roman asked.

"No, not that, it's... I'm touched that you put so much thought into it." Logan said.
