So my wonderful friend Talyn (insertpunhere0 ) has published her own version of the idea that Anxiety finds out what Prince says about him in Accepting Anxiety, as was the original agreement. So go check that out because it's really good, but be sure to bring tissues and chocolate and emotional support.
On that note, here is an even angstier part two to an already angsty one shot. Enjoy!

It had been mere days since Virgil's disappearance, but it felt like an eternity had passed.
Roman hadn't come out of his room since. Patton, Logan, and Thomas had all taken turns attempting to persuade him to come out and at least eat, but he had refused.
The clock read 6:00, and Roman stared at it blankly, knowing Patton would be coming soon to attempt to get him to have dinner.
"Kiddo?" He walked in slowly. "Kiddo, I know you're upset—we all are—but this isn't healthy! You have to eat."
"Virgil's gone for good and it's all my fault. Do you not understand that?" Roman's words were dry. He wasn't even looking at Patton as he spoke. He was a coward, too weak to even face the person he was talking to. "Surely you blame me too. You loved Virgil, we all did. Why aren't you mad at me? It's my fault we'll never see him again, it's my fault Thomas is without fear for good now!"
"Kiddo, you didn't mean to." Patton sat down on the couch next to Roman, who was in a fetal position.
"Maybe not, but it still happened." Roman blinked. His eyes were dry. He was out of tears at this point. "I loved him, Patton. But I made him think the opposite. And now he's gone, and he left thinking that his crush hated him."
"Don't be so hard on yourself, Roman." Patton said. "Here, eat something, please, kiddo? We're all worried—"
"Is Thomas? Oh wait, that's right. He can't be worried now, can he? Because his fear is gone, and it's all thanks to me."
"Roman, with you like this... It isn't helping Thomas any more. He's not getting any new ideas, he's not creative, or optimistic—"
"What's there to be optimistic about anymore?"
"Roman..."
"That's not an answer, Patton."
"Roman, please. I... We all miss Virgil, but none of us blame you."
"You should."
"We already lost one side, we can't lose another because you're in here feeling bad about yourself! We need all the help we can get dealing with the current situation, like the fact that Thomas is practically useless without a structure or anything, and especially no ideas. He needs you now more than ever, and you're here locked away shutting everyone out because you're throwing yourself a nice little pity party!"
Roman didn't say anything. He closed his eyes and wished he could magic this whole thing away, bring back Virgil and erase his past mistakes.
But it doesn't work like that.
"Look, I'm sorry, that was a bit harsh." Patton sighed. "The thing is, we need you to come back. This is bigger than yourself, Roman, please. See the bigger picture."
When Roman still didn't say anything, Patton sighed, and gave up, leaving Roman in his room.
~~~
Roman felt himself getting weaker, even in his own room, which was supposed to charge him. He knew that if it kept up he would eventually follow in Virgil's footsteps and fade, but he didn't care.
