I have lots of requests to do still, and I will do them, but I had an idea and I couldn't help myself because I was in love with the aesthetic of this one shot so here you go, have this human AU fluff.

The first part of this one shot isn't aesthetic, but it's leading up to the aesthetic-y fluffy part, and you'll know when you get there, so feel free to scroll back up and play the video in the background for extra aesthetic-ness.

Thomas was the one who suggested a camping trip, and everyone else was on board.

His suggestion led to three hours in a car with Patton at the wheel, Logan in shotgun giving him directions, and a slightly annoyed Thomas in the backseat placed right between two people who would not stop bickering.

He had tried to get them to stop fighting by suggesting the alphabet game, but to no luck.

"DUDE! THAT'S THE SAME 'K' I USED! FIND YOUR OWN 'K'!"

"I CALLED IT FIRST, VIRGIL!"

"YOU SO DID NOT, ROMAN!"

Thomas sighed in resignation. Those two were like children. He made a mental note to switch seats with someone the next time they stopped. But for now, he put in his headphones, and listened to music, ignoring the other two.

Patton pulled into the campsite. "We're here!"

The five friends piled out of the car and started setting up the campsite. It didn't take them long to do so, and Virgil only called Roman an idiot once. Progress.

Patton had brought premade sandwiches in ziplock bags, and Thomas started a fire for s'mores. They ate their food and s'mores and talked into the night, bonding as a group of friends. Roman, Thomas, and Virgil had their own casual side conversation discussing where Elsa could've gotten her powers from, and the possibility that Anna could have powers of her own, but they were suppressed when she lost all memories of magic. Logan and Patton were discussing whether or not aliens could exist.

"No nearby planet in our solar system could support human life, but it's possible that an alien species could exist that doesn't have the same requirements to live." Logan said. "What if there's another unexplored solar system with a world similar to ours that could support alien life? Just imagine what the discovery of aliens could do. We could compare cultures and knowledge. Imagine how much humans could learn from aliens!"

"We could have alien buddies!" Patton grinned. "Imagine going around in a spaceship with your best friend who just so happens to be an alien!"

"What if humans could mimic alien technology and redesign our human technology to be more like them?" Logan asked.

"WHAT IF WE COULD MAKE A REAL-LIFE REPLICA OF THE MILLENNIUM FALCON?" Patton practically had stars in his eyes.

"The Millennium Falcon is from a work of fiction. A human made it up for the sake of the movie franchise. I highly doubt that if we ever discovered aliens, they would have anything similar to the Millennium Falcon." Logan explained.

"Aww." Patton pouted.

Logan offered Patton his marshmallow in consolation, to which Patton happily accepted.

Everyone was asleep but Logan, who lay awake, listening to the sound of crickets blending into the background, and letting his mind wander.

It was peaceful. Logan enjoyed it.

The only problem is, since it was so quiet, Logan heard everything that went on, like the rustling of Patton's sleeping bag as he sleepily got up and climbed out of the tent.

Logan didn't worry too much at first, figuring he was just going to use the restroom. But when 20 minutes had passed and he hadn't returned, Logan decided to go looking for him out of fear that he had gotten lost or something had happened.

Patton wasn't hard to find. He was laying on his back with a single blanket acting as the only barrier between him and the grass. He was staring up at the stars. His arms were crossed behind his head, and his leg was crossed over the other.

(Like that sorta, only his hands are behind his head.)

"Patton?"

Logan's voice was small, but it could be heard in the calmness of the night.

Patton turned his head so that he was looking at Logan. "Oh, hey, Logan. What're you doing awake?"

Logan shrugged. "Couldn't sleep. Alternatively, what're you doing up?"

"I just... I dunno. I woke up and there's just something I've always liked about nighttime, and I decided to just spend some time out here." Patton said. He moved over some on the blanket. "Here, come join me."

Logan walked over to the blanket and laid down next to Patton.

"How do you manage? It's cold out here." Logan asked.

"I don't mind, but if you're cold, you don't have to stay here if you don't want to." Patton said thoughtfully.

"No," Logan insisted. "I'll stay."

"Good." Patton said. "Stargazing is always better with someone else."

Even though Logan insisted on staying, Patton noticed him shivering a bit. He bit his lip, unsure of what he could do. He wasn't wearing a sweater he could offer.

He reached his arms out and pulled Logan closer to him.

"You're cold. Hugs work great for that." Patton said.

Logan was a bit taken aback by the action, but he didn't exactly dislike it. He allowed himself to melt into Patton's embrace, cuddling up against Patton's body for warmth.

The two of them looked at the stars together. Logan pointed out constellations, telling Patton their scientific names and the names they're more commonly known by. He went on about myths involving these constellations and how they came to be. Patton listened intently.

As Logan started to trail off in his ramble about the stars, he yawned and rubbed his eyes.

"You tired?" Patton asked.

"Nonsense, I'm fine." Logan said.

"If you say so..." Patton said.

Logan did start to drift off, however, and before long he was fast asleep, right there in Patton's arms.

"Oh, Logan." Patton whispered teasingly, smiling warmly. "What am I going to do with you?"

And Patton allowed himself to drift off as well.

So there they were, the epitome of purity and innocent mutual love for one another, resting peacefully under the stars.
