Virgil and Roman were struggling to make their way through the sea of students in the crowded hallway.

"I wonder what would happen if I started singing in front of all these people." Roman said.

"You'd get judged, because this is real life and not High School Musical." Virgil replied.

"Our fellow students would be in awe of my singing talent! I could have siren blood running through my veins." Roman said, overly dramatic on purpose.

"Uh huh." Virgil raised an eyebrow at his friend, skeptically.

"No, but seriously, Virgil. We're seniors, we have to leave a mark on this school before we leave it! Imma do it." Roman said.

"You certainly will not! You'll embarrass yourself. Oh, and don't let Logan catch you using that grammar." Virgil said.

"I'm gonna do it." Roman said again, smirking at Virgil playfully, daring him to try to stop him.

"You're going to make a fool out of yourself." Virgil said.

"Together, together, everyone! Together, together, c'mon, let's have some fun!" Roman blurted out. He looked right at Virgil as he did it.

"Oh god." Virgil buried his face in his notebook. "I don't know him."

"Here and now it's time for celebration! We finally figured it out: that our dreams have no limitations. That's what it's all about!" Roman continued, attracting looks from the other students.

"Why, Roman, why?" Virgil complained.

Roman just got louder. "Everyone is special in their own way! We make each other strong! We're not the same, we're different in a good way! Together's where we belong... We're all in this together, once we know that we are, we're all stars, and we see that we're all in this together, and it shows when we stand hand in hand, make our dreams come tru—"

"Please quiet down and get to class."

Roman turned around to see a teacher glaring at him. "Oh, sorry."

He stopped, and the teacher left him alone.

Virgil met his eyes and snickered. "Ooh, someone got in trouble."

"Shut up." Roman said. He frowned. "So apparently it's not okay to burst out singing in the hallway. Disney lied."

Virgil snorted. "No kidding."
