Logan had wanted to go to the library, and Patton had decided to come with him. The library was located in Thomas's mind palace, so all it took to get there was a simple teleport.

The library was huge. It was old-fashioned, with ladders on wheels sliding from one side of the bookshelf to the other.

"This is so cool." Patton gaped, looking at the different books.

Logan nodded halfheartedly, like he was distracted. "Remember why we came, Patton."

"Right!" Patton turned back to Logan attentively. "Video!"

"This library is dedicated to holding all of the knowledge that Thomas has retained over the years, whether conscious or subconscious. We're bound to find an ideal video topic in here." Logan said. "Any idea that Thomas has will appear in this library as a new book. Books will fade away as Thomas forgets them, but new books pop up every day. It's quite fascinating, really."

"I'm going to search the books on the top!" Patton said.

"You just want to try out the ladder, don't you?" Logan asked.

Patton nodded.

The two of them brainstormed in the library until they had an idea.

"We could base it off of a book again! I mean, we are in a library." Patton said.

"The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd!" Logan suggested.

"I don't know how many of the Fanders will have read it. It's not as popular as Harry Potter." Patton said.

"Okay, fine, we'll do something else." Logan said.

"Well, Thomas loves covering deep and meaningful topics, right? So maybe we could try to do something along those lines. It could be about staying strong despite negativity! Don't let the negative opinions of others bring you down." Patton said, proud of himself for the idea.

"Like cognitive distortions. The human brain tends to focus on the negative, but it's better to focus on the positive." Logan contributed.

"Maybe, but we already had a whole video about cognitive distortions. I think this one should have more of an emotional appeal. I think that's what appeals to the Fanders more, because they can relate to it more." Patton said.

Logan froze.

The Fanders prefer an emotional approach?

"Oh. Okay." He mustered out.

So what am I good for, then? I play no part in emotions.

Patton went on to brainstorm more ideas out loud, but Logan didn't listen.

I was supposed to be the one to come up with a new idea, not Patton. What does he know about this stuff?

Logan knew it was unfair of him to be bitter, but he didn't care.

"Okay, you know what? Fine." Logan said. "I guess you don't need me, then."

"Huh? What's wrong?" Patton asked, confused by his tone.
