Thomas's new video is AMAZING and I am NOT OKAY. (But in a mostly good way, I loved that video)

Spoiler warning for Moving On Part Two:

Also I know insertpunhere0 will be doing her own review of the video cause she always does, and after I publish this I'm going to go see if she's posted it so I can go scream about it with her.

So, that video was so incredibly long, there's no way I can reflect on everything that I noticed in one one shot after seeing it only one time, but here's some things that I will say.

1. ROMAN'S GAY JOKE WAS AMAZING

I literally paused the video just to go "OHHHHH" and I almost fell off my chair. I didn't, but I almost.

But one thing is... Did anyone notice that he looks at Virgil when he says "I'm not straight"?? At least, I think so, cause he looks in the general direction and Virgil starts talking immediately after. Maybe it's just that I ship it so much and I want him to be looking at Virgil, but... Still.

2. Patton my smol child you sweet thing

He is not okay but he's healing and he has a puppy and a cute new hoodie now so that's something

And the others made it clear that they care about him and that's so sweet, awwh

3. Playing The Things We Used To Share in the background while having flashbacks of Thomas's ex

I'm not crying, you're crying.

4. The video was so deep omg

It was inspirational and important and I loved the message

5. That Analogical moment that can be taken as platonic or romantic depending on whether or not you ship it but either way it was cute and you can't deny that

Virgil being "mad" at Logan for leaving was so cute because he's expressing that he missed him in his own little way.

6. I love my smol child Logan

Logan getting excited about Thomas taking a new course is the purest thing and I love him

7. THE PUPPIES

Enough said.

8. It was really interesting how when Virgil was influencing Thomas's thoughts, his voice was echoed.

When Virgil says "HANG UP", his voice has an effect on it, and I think it's really cool because it feels more like how it is in real life, where there's one voice in your head that's louder and/or more effective than the others and that's the one you listen to

9. Patton is so obviously gay for Logan and I would sell my soul to make it canon

I mean, the way he reacts when Logan gives him the hoodie...

I ship it way too much for my own good

10. Logan is gay for Patton in return

He gives Patton a hoodie.

11. Thomas's fishing pun

"I guess you could say I'm... hooked."

"You ruined it."

So I guess Virgil is the one who was annoyed since Logan wasn't there, but still that scene was precious

12. Logan said that even though he wasn't part of the conversation, he was still there, as a part of Thomas

I found this interesting because I wonder how that works. Are they always conscious of Thomas? Can they choose how much they affect Thomas? I mean, Virgil did choose to stop working completely one time. How much are they Thomas and how much are they their own person? Patton says he's allergic to cats and Roman is fluent in Spanish, but those things are specific to those two and aren't shared by Thomas or the others. So they have some level of self and individuality, but to some extent they're still Thomas. All of Thomas's sides were grieving The Ex™ just as Thomas was, because they're his emotions, and yet they have their own feelings, and for different people. It's not like they themselves were in love with him, but Thomas was, and they're a part of Thomas. I'm just curious as to how that works.

Okay well that's all I can think of at the moment, but I know there's more.

QUICK EDIT: A couple people are bringing up the "Falsehood" line, and that IS something that I had originally wanted to touch on but forgot.

When I was watching the vid, I originally took that line to be Thomas imitating Logan in an effort to

A) Making up for Logan's absence

B) Cheer up Patton because Patton misses (in other words, is gay for) Logan

But -pantasticpanini brought up the idea that it could've been Logan attempting to speak through Thomas to cheer up Patton, and I love that idea. It's really sweet to think that even though Logan wasn't there, he still made an effort to reach out to Patton.

So, what did you think happened there? Was it Thomas imitating Logan, or Logan speaking through Thomas???
