This is based off an event that happened in the manga

You were friends with a boy named Misono Alicein, you only met him because your were the daughter of a magician who was friends with Misono's servamp, Snow Lily. But you found out that you two had a few things in common. You two knew each other since you were about nine, so you often got to meet up with him.

You were outside his window around eight o'clock and climbed up to his window and tapped onto the glass. Misono snapped his attention to the window and put down his book, he rushed over to the window and opened it.

"What are you doing!?" He whisper-yelled at you.

"You told me to come get you around eight, so..." You answered awkwardly.

"But why climb up to my window!? It's a two story drop, stupid!" He scolded.

"Yeah, and?"

"You could've just went to the back door, and I was just about to leave to open it for you!"

"But what's the fun in that?" You told the purple-haired boy.

He face-palmed and shook his head. "Whatever, let's just go, (Y/N)." He ordered

"Okay," you said, picking the boy up bridal style. He blushed furiously and his eyes widened.

"What are you do-" He started as you jumped out the window. You landed safely, since you were a mage, you had the ability to jump from high places without breaking your bones. When you put Misono down and steadied him, his mortified expression was still on his face. You two then started running around the town nearby and doing whatever random things came to your minds. You decided to show Misono a lake you often went to as a child with your mother, he looked amazed when he saw the giant body of water.

You ran down to the water and took off your shoes and socks. "What are you doing, (Y/N)?" He asked you. You turned around and stared at him, confused.

"Uh, taking off my shoes...?" You stated. "You want to join me?"

"No! (Y/N), I can't... Swim." He told you reluctantly.

"Oh, I'm not swimming."

"Then why are you taking off your shoes?"

"To dip my feet in the water."

"O-oh..." He stuttered. "Okay, I'll join you, I-I guess..."

You walked down to the small, old dock and sat down, putting your feet in the water. Misono rolled up his pant legs and sat down next to you, he tried to put his feet in but they could not even reach the surface of the water. You giggled as he struggled to get his feet low enough into the water.

"Hey, Misono," You addressed him.

"Yes?" He replied, giving up his attempt to reach the surface of the water.

"Have you ever felt smothered and trapped?" You asked.

He turned his head to look at you, a surprised disposition on his face. "W-what kind of question is that?" He said.

"I always came here to try and think about things, to try and calm down." You continued. "I thought you needed to think about stuff, so I brought you here, to a less smothering place."

His face turned pink. "W-what exactly do I need to think about?" He stuttered.

His father had ordered him to stay inside the Alicein house after he was attacked by a vampire and was sent to the hospital. Misono wants to help his friends stop someone name Tsubaki from hurting innocent people, he wanted to protect his friends from him. You thought he needed to think, to decide if he was going to stand up to his father or just let everything be. You were concerned about him, so you decided to try and give him time to think about it.

"Do you want to tell your dad that you want to help your friends," You told him. "Or do you want to stand back as they try and stop Tsubaki?"

"Isn't it obvious?" He added. "I... Have to stay there."

"Is that what you think you should do," You stated. "Or is that what your dad thinks you should do?"

You two fell silent as fireflies started to fly around, their little lights blinking. You wanted him to see that he wanted to help his friends, but he didn't want to hurt his father. You could tell he wanted to help them out, after all, you knew Misono like your own mind.

"Misono, life is like art," You continued. "You are the only one who can make the piece of art you want and will be satisfied with."

"But..." He began. "I'm bad at art."

"It was supposed to be a quotable piece of advice!" You explained, slightly annoyed. "What I mean is that you can never be satisfied unless you make your own life choices!"

He stared at you, wide-eyed and his mouth agape. Misono closed his mouth and started muttering something, you asked him to repeat himself a couple times. "Th-th-thank- thank you, (Y/N)." He finally said. "I'll... Think about talking to my father."

"Anytime, Misono." You told him.

You to walked around the shore of the lake for a while when you realised it was about eleven o'clock, you figured it was about time to take him back to the mansion.

"Well, better get you back before your dad dies of worrying about his little baby boy." You jokingly told Misono, who started to get mad at you for making fun of his short height. When you got back, you put Misono right back in his room where he was before. As you turned around to leave, he grabbed your hand.

"Thank you, again," He thanked you, "And also..."

"Yes, Misono?" You replied.

"Do you like me? A-as in, a different way? I-I mean, l-like a ro-romantic way?" He struggled to ask you.

You grinned widely, you picked him up out of nowhere. "H-hey-" he began as you kissed him on the cheek. When you put him down, you giggled as his face turned red like a ripe cherry.

"Maybe." You teased him and winked at him as you jumped out his window, leaving him thinking maybe you liked him just as much as he liked you.
