She held the world upon a string

But she didn't ever hold me

You were a subclass loyal to the Servamp of Lust, All Of Love, for a year. And that was how you met his eve, Misono Alicein. You didn't really like him, at all.

You thought he had too many things just handed to him, he didn't work at all to get them. But because Snow Lily was your Servamp, you stayed quiet about your opinion. You only stuck around for Lily's sake, if he wasn't Misono's Servamp, you would be out of there by sundown.

But, even though Misono was a spoiled, arrogant, and childish boy, you often caught him in the corner of your eye looking sad and lonely. Why did he look so sad? He could have anything he ever he wanted here, just by asking. But not only did he look lonely and sad, he seemed to be unsatisfied. But with what? Because of this, you started to reconsider your opinion on him. This made you curious.

She said she won the world at a carnival

"Why are you so sad?"

"What?" Misono said.

"Why are you sad?" You repeated. "You have everything you could've ever wanted, but you seemed unsatisfied with that..."

His face started to turn pink, he shook his head and gave you a sour look. "That's none of your business!" He scoffed. You rolled your eyes and patted him on the head.

"You can talk to me you know."

He looked down at the ground, saying nothing. You shrugged your shoulders, assuming he didn't want to answer, you began to walk away.

"I want friends..." He said, you turned around at his answer. "I want friends who accept me for me... And maybe I want love, too. But I... Can't really ask for that, can I?"

You raised an eyebrow in confusion. He wanted friends? And love, maybe? It was an odd answer, but you nodded with a polite smile. You then shuffled away to scout out the city for Tsubaki's subclasses.

Lily had come up to you one day, saying that Misono requested to see you. You shrugged and walked into the courtyard, where Lily told you Misono was. You spotted the purple-haired eve sitting on the edge of the fountain reading a book. You tapped him on the shoulder, he snapped his attention away from his book.

"I wanted to speak with you, (Y/N)." He told you.

"I heard, shorty," You teased. He started scolding you, telling you to not call him shorty, you quietly agreed.
