Liam's POV

.

I pulled up to the school at 8 o'clock sharp. School started at 8:35, but I had to be given a tour before the day started. The school was an average size. It had three floors and was pretty old. (I found out later it was built during the 1940's) There was an elevator, but it was pretty slow so I thought using the stairs would be just fine with me. I didn't have many classes. I had trigonometry, advanced biology, Sociology/psychology, P.E., English, and two free hours. Now I know what your thinking... "He's pretty smart!" I will admit I may be a bit brighter then the average student, but I'm defiantly no Albert Einstein. Science had always interested me and so did the human brain. English was required and I was good at running, so I took P.E. Math was my best subject so I thought hey why not try trigonometry?

.

It was the last hour of the day and I had P.E. I couldn't find the gym right away, so I was late. I decided to just hang out and kind've watch people. I was looking around and I noticed that everyone was playing basketball. I was watching their game, when I noticed a girl alone on the other side of the gym. She was an average height with medium length, dirty blond hair. I couldn't really see her face, but she looked rather pretty, like her skin was almost glowing. She was also skinny, yet I could tell she had a few curves here and there. She was also wearing glasses. She was shooting free-throw's and she missed every single one. The bell rang suddenly, dismissing everyone to go home. For some reason the girl stayed until everyone else left. I hid behind a corner to see what she was doing. She looked around, which I assumed was to see if anyone was watching. After she noticed no one was around, she started shooting again. Every shot she took sunk into the hoop. I couldn't believe it. Why would she want to hide her talent on purpose?
