Liam's POV

I started clapping as I revealed myself from the corner. She jumped and got a horrified look on her face.
"That was brilliant!" I said, while I walked over to her.
"Umm thanks... I didn't know anyone was watching." Up close I noticed she had blue eyes.
"You're pretty good. Why didn't you show that talent in front of everyone else?"
"It's a long sto-"
"I've got time." I blurted out to quickly.
"Um listen... I don't even know who you are. I don't just tell my life story to strangers." She said with a nervous laugh.
"Liam."
"What?"
"My name is Liam. I just moved here from New York."
"You don't sound like you're from New York." Which was true. Even though I had been living in the USA since I was 12, I never lost my British accent.
"Yeah...uh actually I'm originally from-"
"Hey Annabelle! You ready to go?" We both turned and glanced over at a boy. He was about my height and was dressed more causally then I was.
"Well it was nice meeting you Liam." She said while she walked over to the boy.
"Wait!" I shouted.
"I never got your name officially."
"Annabelle." The guy said while giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"And uh I'm her boyfriend, Spencer." Of course she had a boyfriend! How could someone so pretty not have one? She walked away with him and I noticed that they didn't hold hands or anything. They seemed almost awkward and distant from each other. I immediately didn't like him.
