Liam's POV

.

I was sitting in my living room when I heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened the door to see Annabelle standing there.

"Hey, could I come in?"

"Uh yeah sure." I said not looking into her eyes.

"Are your parents home?"

"No, not yet." I replied. She suddenly leaned in and gave me a soft kiss.

"I'm so so sorry Liam. Did I hurt you? I didn't mean to. I was hoping the slap wasn't too hard, but yet I had to make it look believable. And I'm sorry. Please ignore everything I said. I was just scared and didn't know what to do. And I want you to touch me. Okay that sounded wrong. I meant that I want to still be with you and-"

"Annabelle?"

"Yeah?"

"What the crap are you talking about? Why were you scared? Did you think I was going to hurt you? Because I would never-"

"No no, that's not it at all. Spencer was watching us. And I knew that he would want me to be over dramatic if you tried to touch me so I slapped you and I truly am sorry. Forgive me?" My mind was going in a circle. Spencer was watching us. She slapped me because she knew if she didn't, she would be the one getting slapped by Spencer.

"Liam?"

"Sorry I was just thinking... And yeah of course! I would take a slap for you any day. I'm sorry I reached for your hand. I should've known better." I said while I leaned my forehead on hers.

"Don't be sorry! I should've somehow told you he was watching, I could've done a million other things... Liam? Does it hurt?"

"No not really. Well actually maybe a little, but I know how you can fix it?" I said while I grinned at her.

"How?" She asked, grinning back.

"You could kiss it."

"Alright." She said while giving me a smile. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed my cheek.

"Oh no! It must've spread down to my lips!" I said while giving her a side smirk.

"If only there was someone who could help you!" She said before kissing me for the second time that day.

"Do you feel better now?"

"Yes ma'am. You're very good at making people feel better." She began to laugh.

"I wish I could stay, but I better go. I've got this whole big family dinner thing. I'll see ya tomorrow okay?"

"Okay. Goodnight Annabelle Jacobson.

"Goodnight Liam Payne." I walked her to the front door. As I closed the door I got a sinking feeling in my stomach. I forgot to tell her I was moving and that we could no longer be together and that I couldn't protect her anymore.
