Annabelle's POV

.

When I went inside and got to my bedroom I pulled out my phone. I had six missed phone calls from Spencer. I called him immediately.

"Where have you been?"

"I was just hanging out with Madison. I'm sorry I didn't answer, but you know she needed to talk about some girl stuff." I lied.

"Yeah whatever. So wanna come over?" Spencer always phrased this as a question, but it never was. It was a statement, a commend.

"Yeah sure. Come pick me up?"

"Yeah I'll be there in a few." I quickly got up and went to the bathroom. I scrubbed my mouth as hard as I could. I didn't want Spencer to taste another boy on my lips. He really would put a bullet through my head if he knew about Liam. I heard a car horn and went outside and got in Spencer's car.

"You look lovely today. I forgot to tell you at school."

"Thanks."

"What's the matter?"

"Nothing, I just miss you." The lie burned my throat on the way out. What was really wrong was this was the first time I had seen Spencer since he drugged me. I was furious, but had to suppress my anger. He leaned over and kissed me. I was nervous as he pulled back and looked at me.

"Are you wearing new lip balm or something?"

"Yeah, I got it a few days ago." I lied. "Do you like it?"

"I love it. You should wear it more often." Who knew Spencer would like the taste of Liam's lips.

Liam's POV

.

"Liam we have something to talk to you about."

"We?" I looked at my mum puzzled. My father suddenly walked into my room.

"Dad! How was your business trip?"

"Grand son! I had a wonderful time. But I sure missed ya. Come out into the kitchen and we'll talk." He said while giving me a big bear hug. I followed him and my mum into the kitchen.

"Okay so what's up?" I said as I sat down.

"Your mum and I have some big news for ya."

"Okay? What is it?"

"Now we've been thinking about this for a long time, but we've finally made a decision." My mum said.

"Alright."

"Okay, so your father and I have decided that we're going to move back to the UK!" She said with a smile on her face.

"What?" I gasped out. I felt breathless.

"We're moving back home sweetie."

"No, no we can't move back home! I have to stay here!" A few months ago if I would've been told the same news I would've been ecstatic, but now I had Annabelle to protect. I needed her and she needed me. My mother's face turned from pure joy to shock.

"What do you mean we have to stay? You've been wanting to move back home for years! What's gotten into you?"

"I have to stay here. It's complicated, but I just have to."

"Now listen young man. Your mum and I have given up a lot to make this happen for you. Wether you like it or not you're moving at the end of this month and that's final!" My dad said as he left the room. I had to leave my house, my friends, and my school behind, but most importantly I had to leave behind Annabelle Jacobson.
