Annabelle's POV
.
"Spencer! Wait!" I said while I ran over to his car after school.
"Hello beautiful." He said while giving me a kiss. I hated when he put on a show for everyone.
"I'm going to cut right to the chase. Liam asked me if you did this to me." I said referring to my bruises.
"And what did you say?" He asked through gritted teeth.
"I told him I fell down the stairs like you told me too."
"So what's the problem?"
"He's suspicious. I think if I continued to let him walk me home it'll go away. I promise nothing will happen. You can even watch us if you want."
"How do I know nothing will happen?"
"Because I love you." I said while I gave him a long kiss. Two could play this fake game called "Love."
.
"Does it hurt?"
"Does what hurt?"
"Your face."
"Oh um a little." I said while smiling.
"I can't believe stairs would want to mess up your pretty little face." He said while giving me a playful bump. I winced in pain, He didn't know about the bruises.
"What's your favorite song?"
"My favorite song? Um well..."
"You're bad at this." He said while he shook his head and smiled.
"Well if you're so good at it then what's your favorite song?"
"A Drop in the Ocean by Ron Pope."
"Oh I've never heard that song." I said.
"Not many people have. What's your favorite instrument?" He asked me.
"I like the guitar and the piano." I said while I arrived at my house.
"Finally I get an answer!" He said while smirking.
"Thanks for walking me home Liam."
"No problem! If you need anything just call me okay?"
"But I don't have your number."
"Hand me your phone." I handed him my phone and watched him type in his number.
"Now you do." He said as he handed me my phone back. When he handed it back to me, our hands touched briefly sending a tingling feeling up and down my spine.
