Liam's POV

.

"Do you feel better?" I whispered to Annabelle still inches away from her face.

"Yeah." She said glumly.

"If she has another panic attack all you have to do is come get us." The doctor said, patting my back. He left the room with the nurses leaving a silence between me and Annabelle.

"Will you come lay with me?" She asked quietly.

"Sure." She slid over and leaned up as I slid an arm around her.

"I'm sorry." She whispered.

"Why are you sorry?"

"For getting you into all of this."

"Annabelle, you could be dead if I wouldn't have show up. I can't live without you either. You never have to be sorry for this. I love you."

"I love you too. So where is Spencer?" I forgot that she had blacked out and didn't know anything.

"I will start from the beginning. The paramedics were bandaging you up and Spencer came running out of literally no where and hit you in the head with a rock. Obviously he's not the brightest person with all of the police around. So they tackled him to the ground and cuffed him. They put him in the back of the car and drove off. I'm assuming he's either dead or in jail."

"Oh. Liam, how did you black out in the apartment?"

"The doctors think that the butt of the gun somehow came up and hit me in the back of the head just right, so I black out."

"So Spencer is no longer in my life?"

"I don't think so. I mean you might have to go to trials and things like that, but I will be with you every step of the way." She smiled up at me then.

"I love you, Liam." She said before starting to hum 'A Drop in the Ocean.'

"You know Annabelle we did actually end up together and I was praying for that."

"You're quoting that song. I think it should be our song, like our official song as a couple now."

"I think that'd be lovely." I said before kissing her forehead.

"I don't mean to interrupt, Mr. Payne, but visiting hours are over in about five minutes." A nurse said, poking her head in before leaving.

"Do you really have to go?" Annabelle asked, frowning.

"I'll come see you in the morning, alright?"

"Okay."

"I love you, Annabelle Jacobson."

"I love you, Liam Payne." I kissed her before leaving the room. I walked down the hallway and I thought of a quote I had seen earlier that day, 'Penetrate the heart of just one drop of water, and you will be flooded by a hundred oceans' (Mahmud Shabistari). Annabelle had defiantly penetrated my heart with her one drop of water and her love was like the flood of a hundred oceans.
