Annabelle's POV

.

I had done a lot of thinking in the past couple of days. I realized that Liam was a much better guy for me, but should I really leave Spencer? What if Liam only liked me as a friend? And then there was questions like: what if I can't leave Spencer? What if he beats me and tells me too shut? I had to try though. My future and my life was possibly at stake.

.

"C'mon in." Spencer said as I knocked on his door. Spencer was 18 years old and lived in his own apartment. Sometimes I wished he stilled lived with his parents, because beating me would become more difficult.

"Hey baby." He said while giving me a kiss on the cheek. He was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt of a band I had never heard of.

"Hey so um could we talk for a little bit?"

"Sure c'mon in." He seemed to be polite, too polite almost.

"So what's up?" He said leading me over to his couch. We sat down and I left quite a bit of room between us.

"Well um I just wanted to get this out."

"Okay?" This was it. My heart was pounding as I spoke those five words,

"I want to break up." I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for a punch. It never came. I opened my eyes to see what was going on. His face was a mixture of surprise, shock, and disbelief.

"Excuse me?"

"You know. Like you see other people I see other people?" My voice sounded weak to my own ears.

"I heard what you said, but that's not going to happen."

"Um that's not how it works."

"Not how it works huh? Do you want me to show you how "it" works!?" His voice was rising. I could already tell I said the wrong thing. He stood up and picked me up off of the couch. I already knew where he was going. My eyes began to fill with tears. I wasn't sad or mad, I was scared.

"Spencer! Please! I'm sorry. I was just joking back there. Please put me down."

"SHUT UP!" He screamed. I was more then scared. I was terrified. I began kicking and punching him. Anything to get him to let go of me.

"Do you want me to tie you up!?"

"N-no." I was full out bawling now.

"Then keep your mouth shut and quit moving!" I did as I was told. He opened the door to his bedroom and and set me down on the floor before locking the door behind us. There was no way out. He had barred the windows shut. I was trapped.
